Lacking in atmosphere. It was simply a bed for the night, nothing more.
Pros:

The location. The waiter on the first night of our stay.

Cons:

The constant sound of children running around in the hallway; maintenance staff who did not speak or acknowledge you but had no problem standing in the lift doorway to hold full-on conversations with their colleagues; peeling paintwork around the ground floor lifts; limited menu and restaurant opening times.

Wat viel je tegen?
Bij het inchecken waren onze kamers nog niet klaar, waardoor we moesten wachten. De eerste kamer zag er netjes en schoon uit, maar tijdens het douchen liep al het water van de regendouche de badkamer in en stond de hele badkamer onder water. De handdouche werkte ook niet, waardoor we moesten verhuizen naar een andere kamer.
In de tweede kamer werkte de regendouche opnieuw niet. We waren blij dat we eindelijk konden ontspannen, maar dat duurde niet lang. Andere gasten kregen hetzelfde kamernummer en probeerden onze kamer binnen te komen. Daardoor moesten we opnieuw naar de receptie om dit te regelen.
Toen dit opgelost was, konden wij vervolgens zelf onze kamer niet meer in en moesten we weer terug naar de receptie. We hebben ons verhaal drie keer aan verschillende medewerkers moeten uitleggen, wat veel van onze rusttijd heeft gekost.
Als tegemoetkoming kregen we een paar blikjes drinken, maar voor een verblijf van €480 voor twee nachten hadden we veel meer verwacht. We zijn uiteindelijk thuis meer tot rust gekomen dan in het hotel. Voor ons is dit helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
