Cozy gateway to amazing landscape
Pros:

Great location. Beautiful area. Cool staff. Great breakfast and coffee. Good beds. Give the sauna a try.

pleasant stay, but not among the best spa hotels in the Freiburg area
Pros:

Traditional Gasthof, nicely furnished, nice terrace, nice staff and good food offering - we enjoyed the access to the great spa in the partner hotel 5min drive away (+30€ per person, though) - we were fortunate to have a room facing the garden

Cons:

Nearby the main road unfortunately, a bit noisy when sitting on the terrace - window curtains too thin and no window shutter, you wake up at 5am in Summer... the spa area in the hotel is very small... value for money is average i find, other hotels in the area offer better rooms with balcony (none available in this one) and better spa area for the same price

Alles was bijna perfect

Cons:

Dat een personeelslid de garage geblokkeerd had met een auto waar onze motoren instonden. Helaas was hij of zij zelf niet aanwezig en moest een andere personeels lid een oplossing zoeken.

Cons:

Spa/sauna lukker tidligt. Vi kunne ikke nå at bruge det.
Der manglede mad i morgenbuffet - æg og bacon var hele tiden tomt. Men ellers fint udvalg af forskelligt morgenmad.

Nice quaint hotel in with an authentic Black Forest touch.
Pros:

Nice location close to attractions like waterfalls. Nice breakfast buffet and local cuisine for dinner.

Fraai gelegen hotel met een goede keuken.
Pros:

Hotel ligt in een mooie groene omgeving maar wel aan de doorgaande weg. Het hotel heeft geen airconditioning dus bij warme dagen slapen met open ramen levert wat verkeerslawaai in de ochtend. De kamer was zeer ruim met een aparte zitkamer en goed uitgerust met een fijne badkamer. Bedden sliepen heerlijk. Hotel heeft ook een restaurant waar we heerlijk buiten op het terras hebben gegeten. Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parkeren bij de accommodatie geen probleem. Wellness en eten bij “ruhetag” is in het even verderop liggende zuster hotel van de familie mogelijk. Van de wellness hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt.

Uitstekend hotel
Pros:

Goed gelegen voor motor- trippen te maken. Zeer goed ontbijt. Garage voor de motor.

Cons:

Er waren te veel vliegen in het restaurant.

Over het algemeen een fijn verblijf met mooie uitwijk mogelijkheden om te fietsen of te wandelen.
Pros:

Het Hotel staat op een rustige locatie de kamers zijn ruim opgezet met nog een eigen zitgedeelte met TV. Het ontbijt voldeed aan de verwachtingen.

Cons:

Er werd 2 dagen van te voren gecommuniceerd dat als we aan kwamen en de dag later een rustdag hadden. Wel ontbijt maar geen restaurant 's avonds als alternatief kon je wel met een shuttle naar het dochter hotel voor het avond eten.

Pros:

Herzlichen Dank für die schönen Tage, die wir in Ihrem Haus verbringen durften. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an in die wunderschöne Landschaft verliebt 😍 ...haben in der kurzen Zeit auch sehr viel erlebt
Danke auch an das freundliche Personal, Verpflegung war sehr gut und alles hat reibungslos geklappt.
Danke nochmals und ja, der Schwarzwald ist eine Reise wert.
