Super clean and nice hotel, the staff is really helpful. It is really good value for money and convenient.
It can be noisy at times because all rooms are very close to each other and other customers have obviously no sense of voice volume control or not slamming doors. But that is due to the customers themselves.

Ramen kunnen niet open, geen frisse lucht mogelijk. Alhoewel het met de beste bedoelingen gebeurt, voelt het niet fijn dat het personeel ongevraagd je kamer komt doen als je twee nachten blijft.

Very tired room .dirty stained furniture. Had to go and find hairdryer. Nosy bed .bathroom not fit for use and smelly.
The location was good and I enjoyed the breakfasts. There was ample car parking and the staff were friendly.

I like this hotel because it is convenient to the New Forest trails.

As the building is quite old, the walls are a little thin and I could hear people upstairs walking about and the television on from next door. I put my earplugs in and ignored it!

My room faced onto the main road which I hadn't realised is a very busy thoroughfare and I woke up due to the traffic so if you are a light sleeper thus may be something to consider.
Friendly reception. Good sized, well appointed room - nice decor / furnishings. Had good wifi, tv, tea n coffee, hairdryer, shower etc. Great breakfast with lovely staff. Free car parking. Central Lyndhurst location.
Bed a bit creaky (metal frame) - but was comfy. Shower head could do with a descale / replacement - worked well tho.
The best thing about the Penny Farthing is the Staff - very kind and very helpful. The position was good and parking made my life very easy
The staircase I had to go up to my room. There was a broken drawer and wooden hanger in my room which would have been easy to mend.
Have stayed here many times. The staff are lovely and breakfast is very good. Also location is good as just off the high street
