Main bedroom mattress was way too soft and did not get a good sleep.
The hotel is minutes from the high street and access to the New Forest. 2 minutes walk to The White Rabbit for good food. Parking on site is handy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and the breakfast offered options, plus they put oat milk in my room. Bed was very comfy.
The shower didn't work properly (Sunbeam room). Running from very cold to very hot. I mentioned it to the office staff and they are going to investigate it. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.
Great location and spotlessly clean property. Breakfast was excellent and the staff superb. Was really service with a smile Quiet location and close to the High St and eateries

Double bed and little small
The car park was good.
Traffic noise from the road outside was loud and continuous. It continued until 1.30am and it started again a 6.30am with no chance of sleeping through it.
I had read the reviews that spoke about the traffic noise and had contacted the hotel asking if they would give us a room at the back of the hotel, overlooking the car park. I received a response from 'Susan' who said 'We will do our utmost to accommodate your request'.
She did NOTHING to accommodate our request so we had three nights with little or no sleep.
On a relatively more minor point our room was not serviced during our stay apart from replenishing the instant coffee sachets. We were left to clean our own coffee cups and the rest.

The location, breakfast, parking , smoking area and the room/bathroom.
The mattress/pillows are not the best I have experienced. Would recommend a topper on the mattress. No a/c if its hot but we opened the windows and we were ok. No smart tv so just local stations.
The breakfast was excellent and nice and hot. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I know I asked for a small double room but there was not much room to manoeuvre around the bed. The second flight of stairs was very steep
and there wasn’t a lift. Next time I shall ask for a ground floor room.
The staff are wonderful.
I booked for 3 days and 2 night. The breakfast was great and it was table service. The room given to us was spacious. The location was perfect as it is walking distance to the high street and take less than 10 mins drive a way to few location we want to visit.
The bed is not comfortable at all. The TV channel was limited. Limited plug socket available in the room due to some not working.
Good breakfast and convenient location
We had a very good 1. Night stay. Managed to park right outside the back entrance. Very dog friendly. Our small dog had a sausage for breakfast and we had a weĺl cooked breakfast and cereals with yoghurt all very tasty, the eggs were perfectly poached and fried. We were allowed to leave the car in the car park, while we went into town in the morning. We walked 4 minutes to The White Rabbit for our evening meal all very good. We would definitely stay again. 😀
Tip, it's on a main road, so if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs.

Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer unter dem Dach. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Liegt an einer ziemlich stark befahrenen Straße, dafür sehr zentral.
They were very accommodating for us with breakfast as we had to leave quite early and they left out some stuff for us. Much appreciated!
