We come every year for the Netley Marsh Steam Rally. And the Hotel is a short drive to the show.
The room is always clean the bed very comfortable.
The breakfast is good.
.
The staff were lovely and friendly, the location was good for exploring the New Forest, breakfast was very good.
The beds were really uncomfortable and the room got very warm, even with the fans.
Convenient. Clean. Spacious.
We slept ok but only because we had ear plugs. The king sized bedroom in 'Mad Hatter 1' looked out on to the main road. The room had a fan but in the current temperatures we were a bit hot.
Great location, lovely breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
I was there during the heatwave and on the top floor so the room was a bit hot, but there were fans in the room which helped :)
Property is a little dated carpet wise, but it’s charming to. Parking is ample at the back of the property. There is a small garden and also a small table and chairs next to the entrance. All the staff are lovely and breakfast is delicious.
Nothing
Lovely room, lovely breakfast, lovely location
Had a good nights sleep
Few cobwebs in room.
Stairs quite steep, especially for my wife, who has mobility issues
Great location, friendly staff, car park, basic but clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again.
Great place to stop over on the way to Southàmpton for our cruise. Nice little guest house. Would have been perfect if it weren't for the heat!
The room was so hot that we couldn't sleep. It was in a heat wave but the fans in the room were inadequate. We had to have the windows open but being on a main road meant that it was very noisy.
Friendly, helpful staff. Room clean and well presented. Nice breakfast, ample parking, close to shops and pubs. Dog friendly
Very hot weather during my stay, no fridge in room, my oversight when reading room description, but a fridge would have been useful. However, staff helpful and let me keep drinks in a fridge downstairs . My room was directly facing a very noisy road and due to hot weather needed my window open so kept me awake. In colder weather this wouldn’t be an issue .
