Lovely and peaceful nice relaxing mini break away
Breakfast time: we sat down and had to wait over 30 minutes to be served and noticed people coming in after us getting served first
excellent room, excellent food and the staff were polite, friendly and professional.
bathroom was a little on the small side. no other issues.
We took our dog and there was a welcome pack in our room for him which was a really nice touch. All of the staff were friendly and the whole feel of the place was just lovely. We were made to feel very welcome, as was our dog.
I had informed the hotel in advance that my partner and I are vegan, there was no non dairy option of milk in our room and there were non vegan biscuits left as a welcome. Also the dinner menu was very un-inspiring for vegans, although it was tasty, it was just very basic for a hotel of that standard which made the effort for the non vegan menu. The breakfast however was really lovely.

Location was beautiful with wold rabbits playing. Lovely outdoor seating and conservatory adjacent to the lounge and dining area. Very peaceful.
Shower was volcanic so unable to be used. Room was a bit dated and not if the same standard as the downstairs to the hotel.
Great location in lovely gardens
Very short-staffed. On arrival the only person available was the barman who responded to the call button, but he was also the only waiter, so three jobs by one person!

Everything was great except they had no beer pumps working and ran out of bottled beer and it just seemed like nobody had organised to sort the problem
