Relaxing with good staff.
Pros:

Beautiful old house with original features. Comfortably rooms. Beautiful views and good food.

Cons:

Too many rabbits! Had an overexcited greyhound all weekend. But not much they can do about rabbits. Could empty the dog waste bin more often especially in the summer.

Location is lovely.
Pros:

Breakfast was very nice. I had to leave before breakfast on one morning and the staff were very kind in preparing a basket breakfast for me and dealing with my specific food issues.

Cons:

It was REALLY hot. The house is somewhat elderly and so there was no air conditioning this made sleeping difficult. The forst night was busy and it took a long time to be served in the restaurant.

Pros:

The location is good and room 14 Eira was comfortable with a nice shower

Cons:

Nobody on reception during our stay. Restaurant closes on Sundays and Mondays but website booking system allows table booking then. The hotel has changed since our last visit in 2025. Customer service has greatly declined.

Fantastische Lage
Pros:

Alles war super .

Cons:

Pros:

The grounds and hotel style

Cons:

Drunk guests jumping from an unlite road into path of car and staff not making us feel naturally comfortable without making us stand out like a sore thumb

Disappointing and needs some work to bring it up to standard
Pros:

The room was clean with a nice tea and coffee tray.
Breakfast was very good with a good choice.
The hotel's biggest bonus were the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable - like a marshmallow with no support.
The 'shower' head in the bathroom was extremely small and had a poor flow - very difficult to have a proper shower and hair wash with such a substandard shower.
The room had no air con - understandable in an older property - but the kitchen extractor fan was just to the right of our room - making a noise until late evening and then boomed back on early morning - making it difficult to have peace with the windows open.
Dinner was poor - we stayed Sunday to Tuesday so don't know if the full restaurant would be better - for the price paid it was disappointing.

Lovely, relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Pros:

It is a beautiful building set in beautiful countryside. The interior reflects the age of the property and is tastefully decorated.

Cons:

I would have like some sun loungers in the front garden, for lounging, not sunbathing. But that is just being very picky. I liked everything.
