The rooms was spacious. Front Staff was friendly and provided great service.
The handicap Accessible room had some features for a wheelchair user. However the bathroom was NOT ADA compliant. The toilet was way too low. No bars for the toilet area. Door couldn't be shut unless you stood on the side of the toilet or over it. Not able to be used with a wheelchair or walker at all. Very challenging for someone using forearm crutches. The towels were also way off the ground. Someone in a wheelchair alone could never reach them. We didn't book a roll in shower room, but this one lacked proper bars in the tub to be safe for someone with mobility issues.
The room had a chemical smell when we walked in but thought it might be from cleaning. We know it's a pet friendly, however I woke up with more than a dozen bug bites my Dr. said look like clusters consistent with beg bugs. Would not stay here again.
The pillows were very comfortable but no fresh toiletries all used…. The pool was closed.. the room was dirty…
The pool was closed and staff was rude and hiding in the back office
Clean
The overall look of the property was well keep.
I'm a preferred customer and I need one more night today, I stayed here last night need one more night tonight
Hello I i needed one more night tonight after my stay last night , may 60 May 7th I am in thus need to use the room one more night tonight.\n My apartment still isn't ready. I am a preferred customer, and I'm open that can make a difference for my stay at the Hampton on every boulevard. Tonight.
Very clean, comfortable bed, yummy breakfast
Clean, spacious, modern rooms with good WiFi and TV.
They have a coin operated guest laundry but have no change on the premises. After unsuccessfully trying local businesses, we had to walk to a laundromat. Also, you had to run the water for at least five minutes in the shower before it got hot
Nice and clean
Ok
Very comfortable room with a nice breakfast.
This may be the worst hotel I've ever been to. The front desk staff (when they were actually present which was rarely) were extremely rude. The room we were given smelled awful and when I asked for another room the staff member said if I didn't like the new room I could leave the hotel (it was almost 10 pm). There were no sheets or blankets for the pull-out sofa bed although there were three of us. There was a dirty mattress pad on the sofa bed (it had Nerds or some other hard candy pieces on it). When I told the front desk staff about that they said "good" when I said that I brushed off the candy. I was given a hard time about getting linens for the sofa bed, and when I did get them there was a duvet cover but no top sheet or duvet. I went back to the front desk and was told I was just looking for reasons to complain. He eventually relented and provided another set of linens.
The location is poor, located 3 miles from downtown Syracuse, immediately adjacent to a highway, and in a pretty rough neighborhood.
