Nice but not sure I would recommend or stay again
Pros:

Very convenient for where we needed to be and to town

Cons:

The employees were polite and attentive however, the property is tired and needs a redecoration. The cleaning was definitely hampered by the need to redecorate, grubby on the doors, carpets stained and the table top in our room was sticky.

Pros:

Location to Portsmouth when coming off Ferry perfect. Safe parking for our motorcycles

Pros:

Cosy little hotel on the high street with modern conveniences. The downside is that you cannot get any food once the bar shuts in the afternoon. I never understand why a simple sandwich can’t be produced as you always have at least one member in the kitchen.

Good Location for our needs on this visit, but generally a bit disappointing.
Pros:

Our first room shower flooded the bathroom on the first two mornings of our stay and we were moved to another room. The room was in need of upgrade in a few areas eg cracked sink in bathroom. Bed was comfortable and we didn’t have breakfast.

Cons:

Staff mixed up several room bookings - resulted in entering pre occupied rooms and hassling guests. The team made no effort for amends. Did not care about the poor service. No air conditioning or fans for hot rooms in heat wave

Cons:

No air con hot and stuffy one small fan in room no other facilities like a little fridge , we had a broken kettle , very out dated rooms for nearly £100 a night , don’t think you get what you pay for
