A great location, great room, Spoiled by building work

The room was very nice.

There was renovation going on.

Not in our room (which was really nice), the carpet outside the room had plastic covering on it. The room next door was being carpeted and tiled etc. Day 1 banging at 7am, Just along the corridor was being done out so we were meeting builders daily in lifts etc, this took away the feeling of being on holiday

We spent NZ$1000 on this accommodation as we were having some renovations done at home, so decided to take a holiday rather than be among the renovations work!

Pros:

Fantastic hotel , close to everything, transport to your door step, beach just 2 minutes away. Very clean environment, Room had everything cooking utensils plates cups and cutlery.

Cons:

I requested room on a higher floor, was not not given although the room was available. Shower handle was broken, got fixed but it came off each time you have shower. Could not connect tv to wifi so could not watch our favourite movie . It was very heavy rain in Gold coast, we requested umbrella ,it was given to other guest but not to us . We needed extra blanket , one in the room had very bad smell. Lastly we had attend a class with regards to joining Wyndham Club , atleas advance notice should have been given so that we were prepared ourselves.

Spacious, clean and the view was excellent

Cons:

We find access to the garage is not safe due to a very steep driveway when swiping card to open gate.

Great hotel and ocean views
Pros:

Location, view and great room.
Comfortable bed.
I was lucky and scored a room on level 14 which provided amazing views.

Cons:

Breakfast was a voucher for $30 at their cafe.

Also worth noting that they are currently refurbishing floors and rooms.

Shower door had no bottom seal and water got all over bathroom floor. Shower enclosure needed upgraded.

Great location
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. The location was great - walking distance to eateries, shopping, beach, and tram.

Cons:

The room was clean. However, there was alot of wear and tear. Light switches had seen better days. The aircon wasn't consistent with cooling. The shower head was very outdated. Couch had questionable stains.

Nice location and staff were helpful.
Cons:

Quite disappointing overall. The room was on the top floor, which felt very isolated. The room was outdated in need of an upgrade, the bed was so extremely uncomfortable, and both my husband and I woke up with sore backs. We had booked this stay hoping for a relating break away from our busy lives, so it was quite off putting to be approached and hassled into attending their timeshare seminar.
