Love this hotel, location & staff are exceptional; we enjoy the atmosphere and are always pleased with the experience.
great place, near lots of shops and a waterfront called shipyards. Easy walking to anything you could need. ice cream nearby, an amazing coffee spot within 10 min walks. lots of food choices. places to sit and enjoy the view. well worth the price and loaction.
Great location - great service and cleanliness. North facing room was quite noisy from traffic in the morning.
Parking not included BTW
Our stay was pretty average. There was room for improvement, but the price was reasonable so it didn't make much of an impression either way.
Room 409 on the fourth floor overlooking the harbour. Large room with a small balcony. Huge comfortable bed, chair, desk and chair, stocked fridge but with room for our own stuff. Coffee machine, no kettle, big mugs. Bathroom with bath and shower over, reasonable pressure: large window, (with blinds) overlooking the room. Enough sockets although difficult to reach the one behind the bed. Air-conditioning reasonably efficient. Wi-Fi very fast. Location excellent with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
Very bad experience. I booked Bakan Quartier des Congres in Montreal from June 27 to June 30, and when we arrived around 10:00 PM, there was no staff, no representative, and no clear check-in instructions. We did not even know exactly where to go.
The place also looked very dirty, scary, and uncomfortable. It honestly felt like something from a horror movie, not a proper hotel where guests should feel safe and welcomed.
We tried calling the phone number provided many times, but nobody answered. We waited for more than an hour late at night, confused and stranded, with no support at all. Because of this, we had no choice but to book another hotel at the last minute around 11:00 PM, which cost us much more money.
Instead of taking responsibility, they later asked why we did not text them, even though we were calling the number they provided and no one responded. I also tried calling again afterward to follow up, but still had no luck.
They failed to provide the accommodation and service we paid for, caused us stress and extra expenses, and they still have not refunded my money. This was unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Everything, the location, view and the room was exactly what we expected in a nice comfortable hotel room.st
The cost for parking.
Thank you for having me yet again for another enjoyable stat . Suite was clean , tidy and quiet . Bed was very comfortable as being at home., see you soon I hope
Great location. Close to all major activities. Canada festivities was was two step outside . Beaufotil view . Sound proof . Food was amazon. Best expresso martinis . Vlean pool hot tub and sonas . Real please with our choice. Would absolute recommend. One of our friend lices in vancoucver and came to visit and has never been there before he was pleastly supris3d and said it was a great choice
Stayed here for three nights prior to picking up a cruise to Alaska. Excellent Hotel and location is in the shipyard area which is vibrant with a number of restaurants and cafes. We had a room overlooking the harbour and the room was serviced every day. Shower was reasonable power in a bath.
Didn’t eat in the hotel as there were plenty of places around. Strongly recommend Joeys at the Shipyard and the Greek restaurant Anatoli 5 minutes walk from the hotel
Five minutes from the hotel, you can pick up a sea bus which takes you across the bay to downtown Vancouver and the cruise terminal at Canada place. The sea buses go every 10 to 15 minutes.
We would stay here again.
A wonderful place to stay. Parking was included. Great views of the water and we could see the cruise ships at Canada Place. Highly recommend getting a harbour view room versus mountain view. We were on floor 5 overlooking the Shipyards where the FIFA football/soccer games were broadcast. Clean room and very comfy bed. The location of this hotel is perfect for finding local restaurants and cafes. Character old buildings mixed in with modern buildings. Would return for sure.
First rate real hotel, excellent staff, everything was easy.
Only good.
Disappointed with room whatever you do don’t take a room on the North side of the building the noise from the road is unbearable poor blackout curtains and glazing traffic noise from 4:30am.
Some of the check in staff don’t really care.
