Excellent hotel, lovely staff - all very friendly, attentive and approachable.

Location very central, close to shops, venues, sea. Decent gym. Good, comfortable bed.
No fridge, coffee machine or even basic kettle in the room. Check in/out process a bit slow.
Spacious clean room with incredibly comfortable bed and view over the Albert Dock.
I wasn't able to leave an extra key for my daughter to pick up when she was getting there in the early hours which meant I didn't sleep well as was waiting up for her.

The location of the hotel is very super in the city centre. Rooms are very comfortable. Quick check in

Not a lot. Shocking price for an overnight stay without breakfast. £338!. We've stayed city centres before much less than this. Had to pay an extra city tax of £2.50 at the hotel! That annoyed me more!! Can understand in other countries but not when we are bringing tourism and money to the city already. Its like theyre doing you a favour! And... £30 to park overnight! I'm done with Liverpool. This is definitely not Hilton standard hotel, we've stayed in a few and it was the same as Premier Inn for us, basic rooms, needs updating throughout. A first and very last for us.
All of the above... and Booking.com didnt provide our reservation to the hotel so that was an absolute faff on as soon as we got there.
The upgrade was excellent value. A great hotel in a convenient location for shopping and eating out in the Liverpool 1 area. The staff are always very helpful too. Have stayed at the Hilton on many occasions for these reasons.
