A good stay in a very limited market
Pros:

The room was clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed although TV viewing was very limited in choice.

Cons:

Access to our room was across very wet grass (in the rain). The building could do with a verandah outside the sliding doors to offer protection. The restaurant food was very average and the "Roast of the Day" needs to be reworded to "Pork Steak (1 thick slab) on potatoes, kumara and pumpkin (not a green in sight)." It is not what most people believe they are ordering. I need to remember to avoid this another time.

Overnight stay while travelling.
Pros:

A very comfortable stay, room was warm, staff very welcoming along with excellent food. Will certainly stay again.

Definitely want to come back!
Pros:

All the staff were amazing. The front desk team were welcoming, and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful, from breakfast to dinner, and the bar staff were incredibly friendly. A special mention goes to Rob, who is an absolute legend!

This trip was a much-needed short break from the madness, and it turned out to be even better than we expected. Everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay.

I highly recommend this place to anyone stopping over in Haast. We would definitely stay here again!
