Heerlijk.
Pros:

Op doorreis naar Franz Josef, leuk in oude stijl (50er jaren) alles is schoon en werkt. Ontbijt was goed en zeer aardig personeel.

Cons:

Gehorige kamers.

Great value Haast hotel
Pros:

Great value with breakfast included. Room was compact but perfectly fine for one night. We were assigned a room where we could park right the exterior sliding door which was very convenient.
We ate at the onsite restaurant for dinner which was good, and was happy with breakfast the next morning except no coffee was available.

Cons:

Noisy kids running up and down hallway all night. Not the fault of the hotel but quite annoying.
There is no fridge in the room - a small bar fridge really seems like a fairly standard inclusion in hotels but apparently not here.

Quiet location, clean comfy room and great buffet breakfast
Pros:

Lovely outllook over green pastures. Enjoyed watching the birdlife. Comfy beds, clean room and enjoyed the included full buffet breakfast. Nice dinner in the restaurant.

Great place to stay with great food.
Pros:

The room was clean and well presented and the bed was very comfortable, we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both which were excellent.

Cons:

We would have liked a fridge in our room there was a very small fridge in the hall which was already used.

Was prima voor paar nachten. Dorp zelf is klein. Wel goed restaurant in dorp en bij hotel.

Pros:

Very clean rooms with modern fittings and fixtures. A great place to have a night while touring south island

Cons:

The breakfast buffet with 40 NZD per person was a bit disappointing not many options for vegetarians or fresh produce like fruit or cheese. Therefore the price is a little steep.

Pros:

Bed very comfy. Location convenient for stopping on the way to the Wanaka.

Cons:

Room was stifling hot. Had to complain multiple times for it to be turned off. Heating connected to all rooms so needs ‘5 complaints’ before being turned off.
Windows open on to a large public parking lot so not safe to leave open.

Pros:

Comfortable beds

Cons:

The heating was very hot and unable to turn it down. Even with the windows wide open had to sleep without blankets. No where to cook our own food so forced to eat in restaurant. This was ok for two of us but had taken our own food as one of us has food allergies and not alot of choices for them. No toaster, bowls or plates to have breakfast before our early start.
