Quiet stop. Great for travelling stop.
Pros:

Very comfortable rooms, close to highway but no noise .proximity to hotel section for meals was great but again no noise transfer.

Cons:

Could not park close to the room. Twenty or thirty metres is significant when you have heavy bags.

It's not somewhere I would recommend to stay
Pros:

Smelt like sewage, corners not clean, tv didn't work very well, only 2 ordinary coffee sachets, property is tired looking and needs refurbished

Cons:

Cleanliness in rooms, restaurant, toilets. Clearer signage ie said reception but not Heartland Hotel reception. I was overcharged for breakfast

over priced, not friendly.
Pros:

It was quiet.

Cons:

No electric blankets, even though I had paid, given my bank card details, shown drivers license, when I went to restaurant I had to leave my card behind bar, to run a tab for meal & drinks, not the kind of friendly West Coast service I am used to, fridge was noisey in room all night

Pros:

Great location as we wanted to break up our trip from home to the west coast.
Very good price for a nights stay if you are just wanting a room for the night.
The restaurant and bar on-site was also very good.

Cons:

Room was fairly basic but tidy and clean.
No fridge in room which would have been useful.
Not many TV channels but that was probably reflected in the price as well.

Das inbegriffene Frühstück und der Discount für das Nachtessen. Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich. Wir konnten Billard spielen.

Quite satisfactory!
Pros:

The sight of the hotel was most welcome after driving the curvy roads on the west coast of New Zealand. It is an older motel, but its welcome was warm (complete with blazing fire in the restaurant fireplace). Our room was quite clean and looked to have been recently painted, although there was no odor. The restaurant was warm and the food excellent. Both our supper and breakfast were tasty and filling.

Cons:

Better lighted signage would have been welcome, or more of it as we approached the turn. This seems to be an issue country wide, and I get it. Lights would interfere with stargazing and signs obstruct views. But even a small sign indicating the upcoming turn would be most helpful.

Best of a bad bunch in the area, but be careful of the heating in winter
Pros:

Location was good.
Shower had really good water pressure.

Cons:

Room was very cold. Heating felt non existent as was just a radiator that was underpowered.

Ótima localização e bom custo benefício.
Pros:

O hotel está na entrada da cidade e é uma ótima opção para quem precisa parar próximo aos glaciares Fox e Franz Joseph e para quem está de passagem a Wanaka e Queenstown. Possui um bom restaurante com várias opções.
