Gutes Hotel im Ausgehviertel
Pros:

Sehr gutes, vielfältiges Frühstück, sehr gute Lage in Laufnähe des Ausgehviertels, freundliche Mitarbeiter, große Dachterrasse mit Sonnenliegen und Pool

Cons:

Weiche Matratze, im Zimmer roch es nach Rauch, kleines Bad (Dusche, WC vor Waschbecken), Sauberkeit verbesserungsfähig

Pros:

Da ein Problem mit der Klimaanlage in dem gebuchten Zimmer auftrat , hat der Personal sich umgehend gekümmert . Zum Glück sprachen die Angestellten des Hotels deutsch , was die Lösung des Problems vereinfachte und wir konnten am nächsten Tag in ein Zimmer Upgrade umziehen . Dann war alles perfekt !
Wir bedanken uns für die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft beim Hotel und können das Hotel und seine Umgebung nur weiter empfehlen .

An oasis of calm and luxury
Pros:

Staff very welcoming on our very late 1am arrival. Bedroom and bathroom high quality, attention to detail like extra toiletries. Quiet well insulated.
Roof wellness area is a amazing. An oasis. Calm well appointed, with views over the city. Sauner, pools et very clean. Robes and towels provided. Lots of choice at breakfast. Fantastic old building beautifully maintained. Cool reception area to sit and drink the cold water provided on a very hot day.

It is the staff that can make a visit special
Pros:

We have to recognize the exceptional service of Mr. Gabor, the gentleman managing the breakfast buffet. We visited the Continental Hotel Budapest June 21 to 24. We shared our enjoyment with him of one of the local dishes at the buffet seen on the first day but had not been seen since. Unexpected he offered to see if the kitchen could prepare a special order. Later he brought us a plate of the Hungarian sausages, which greatly added to our Hungarian experience and enjoyment. We have travelled to over 50 countries and stayed at uncounted hotels. The Continental will always stand out in our memories due to the outstanding efforts of its staff as shown by Mr. Gabor.
