A lucky find!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, spacious and comfortable room, lovely food in the restaurant, and friendly service.
We'd just been looking for somewhere for the night before the onward drive to Calais. La Maison Rouge was a lucky find for us!

Pros:

Lovely old building and modern rooms. EV charging worked well. The restaurant was first class too.

Cons:

Some tea making facilities in the room would be great.

Perfect overnight stay.
Pros:

Lovely ground floor room with a garden which was perfect as we were travelling with our dog . Also excellent dinner and varied choice for breakfast.

Perfect stop over near Calais and motorway network - wonderful restaurant.
Pros:

Great hotel and fabulous location for Calais. Staff were all amazing and couldn’t have done more. Secure parking was added bonus and restaurant was at least as good as all the positive reviews - would eat there again even if I wasn’t stopping the night - really well done 👍

Cons:

Aircon didn’t cool the room and double bed had a pronounced slope into the middle.

Really lovely friendly hotel with great food.
Pros:

Very friendly hotel, extremely comfortable room with proper air con, good indoor and outdoor areas, excellent dinner with extras like appetiser and madeleine afterwards. Good breakfast.

Excellent value for money. Have used the hotel several times before catching an early ferry

Parada obligatoria en la zona
Pros:

Soy comercial y estoy acostumbrado a pasar parte del año alojándome en hoteles, pero este superó claramente mis expectativas.

Tanto el hotel como el restaurante son excelentes y no les falta un solo detalle. Dispone de parking, ascensor, unas instalaciones con mucha clase y una decoración exquisita en todas las zonas comunes. Además, me tocó una habitación muy amplia, perfectamente climatizada y equipada con una televisión de gran tamaño.

Sinceramente, he quedado muy satisfecho con la experiencia. De hecho, ya he guardado el hotel en mi mapa para futuras visitas. Si vuelvo a pasar cerca, repetiré sin dudarlo e incluso estaría dispuesto a desviarme expresamente para alojarme aquí de nuevo.

Muy recomendable.

Excellent stay with surprisingly good restaurant with pleasant team in lovely outdoor setting!
Pros:

Firstly, I was having trouble with the hotel's EV charger (an issue with my phone, not the EV chargers). The General Manger -Luik?- went out of his way to assist and make sure my car was charging. (Luik hope you received the envelope). The restaurant team were excellent and well trained. There was a good choice on the menu which was delicious too - loved the white asparagus. The madeleines freshly cooked and served with the fresh fruit was lovely end to the meal. Breakfast too was good with plenty of choice. A very pleasant stay all round with a comfy bed.

Cons:

The only improvement would be a kettle in the bedroom with a tea bag or two and a more pleasant attitude from the lady at reception in the morning of my departure.

Emplacement à proximité de tout, sur l'axe principal

Chambre silencieuse et climatisée
Parking fermé la nuit

Cons:

Séjour trop court pour profiter du petit déjeuner correctement (horaires pas vraiment compatibles)
Pas de bouilloire à disposition ni dans la chambre, ni en salle de repas... dommage mais pourtant très pratique !
