Categories

Cleanliness
7.5
Generally reported as clean and well-kept in several reviews (clean rooms, tidy reception), though some rooms showed humidity-related issues and swollen doors during partial renovations.
Service
8
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and attentive (mentions of specific staff praised), which is a clear positive across multiple reviews.
Location
9
Consistently praised as excellent and very central — many guests highlight the perfect location in Potes and proximity to restaurants/attractions.
Room Quality
4.5
Multiple complaints about outdated rooms, lack of air conditioning, small or basement-like windows, ongoing partial renovations and poor soundproofing indicate below-average room quality.
Amenities
5
Limited amenities noted (no fridge in rooms, lack of AC in many rooms); breakfast facilities exist and are satisfactory but overall amenities are basic and affected by renovation status.
Value for Money
4.3
Several guests explicitly state the price-quality ratio is weak and the hotel feels expensive for what is offered, so value is rated below average.
Food and Beverage
7
Breakfast commonly described as good, affordable and satisfactory; a few remarks about slow replenishment but overall F&B is a positive aspect.
Overall Experience
7.5
Mixed but leaning positive: excellent location and friendly staff offset by outdated rooms, noise and occasional lack of AC. Overall a decent stay for location-conscious travelers, with clear areas for improvement.
