Authentiek Hotel met mooie tuin
Pros:

Mooi landgoed met diverse zitjes. Het ontbijt is ook erg goed met vriendelijk personeel. De afstand naar de boot in Dover is perfect en de stad Canterbury de moeite om te bezoeken

Cons:

We hadden de kleine kamer geboekt, die prima was als overnachting voor de overtocht per boot, maar wel erg warm en het bed ook klein.

A pleasant, relaxed and comfortable stay.
Pros:

The hotel, and especially the room we stayed in, oozed character and charm. The room was spacious, attractive and comfortable, the property was set in attractive grounds and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed.

Klassiek hotel, toe aan een opknapbeurt.

Sfeervol hotel, ontbijt prima. personeel vriendelijk, ruime parkeerplaats

Cons:

Het bed en het saniteir zijn kernpunten waarop je een kamer beoordeeld; Kamer gedateerd en toe aan facelift, douchegordijn is van vorige eeuw, douchekop blijft niet rechtopstaan tijdens het douchen en bediening van de kraan is ook onduidelijk. Als er water stroomt klinkt er een hard geluid alsof er een pomp draait (?). Het is prima, maar de breedtemaat is klein.

Le domaine est superbe , très bien entretenu avec un accueil et personnel au top.
Nous avons trouvé un lieu comme nous voulions un vrai manoir avec tous les codes anglais
Bref superbe à tous les niveaux que ce soit le lieu , la beauté , la propreté, la gentillesse du personnel , la restauration et petit déjeuner ect …

Super idyllisch verblijf. Personeel is zeer aangenaam!

Cons:

Het licht werkte niet goed. Het douchewater werd niet warm. Het is duidelijk een oud gebouw, maar dat hoort bij de sfeer.

Uncomfortable bed (springs digging into back..needed a topper or new mattress)

Great quality, convenient location and plentiful parking. Superb value for money.
Pros:

The view, convenience of location and parking were terrific. Staff were friendly and informative, like Stacey who told us about the nearby path that takes you straight into Canterbury which is great for times we didn't want to drive and was willing to make the walk (approx 50mins one way).

Cons:

Shower with the shower curtain was a bit cramped for my liking however still did the job. This was the only thing that irked me during the entirety of my two night stay.
