Good area & amenities
Pros:

Hotel is convenient to the Maris district and was an easy walk to the Seine & Notre Dame. Rooms are small but we had just enough space for 2. Bed was comfortable. The carpet was clean & looked fairly new. We were in Paris during the recent unexpected heat wave. Although the room was air conditioned, the vents pointed to the far wall & temps were regulated. We kept the drapes closed which helped keep the heat out. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Provided hairdryer did well, but the power button had to be held to make it run. We did not try the breakfast as there was a good place across the street. Note that you are required to turn your key in to the front desk whenever leaving. One evening when returning around 11pm there was no one at the desk. Waited about 5 minutes; then went back outdoors and noticed a bell. Someone came immediately when pressed.

Never returning!
Pros:

The only upside to this hotel is the location - being in the Marais, you are ideally situated near restaurants, museums, and shopping, and in a great arrondissement of Paris.

Cons:

Everything! the nightly price is outrageous. It's difficult to rate the staff as a whole. One of the receptionists was amazing, but the person working in the breakfast room was very cold and unfriendly. Not a great way to start your day when you say "bonjour" and she doesn't respond, only glares at you. Further, it's a very noisy neighborhood, and it was difficult to sleep.

Virkelig hyggelig personale som virket genuint interessert i oss som gjester. Så hjelpsomme og vennlige.

Cons:

Teppe på gulvet, dette var flekkete og virket skittent. Rommet luktet sterkt sigaretter, kanskje fra tidligere gjester.

Really lovely!
Pros:

Amazing safe and central location despite being really quiet at night, literally a minute to subway and just off a beautiful Parisian square. Room was decorated to a good standard too, Also, such lovely staff who can’t do enough for you.

Cons:

Not a big deal but AC didn’t really work on first night. They sorted happily the next day though. No English TV channels or smart TV in the room but then you are in Paris so go outside to the quiet pub or cafe opposite!
