Great location-Comfy stay
Pros:

Excellent location, handy to Eat Street and the lakefront. Comfy rooms and friendly staff. They even had a special treat for us awaiting for our anniversary.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable bed.

Cons:

Small rooms look like a cellar room with no proper window. Superior rooms are lacking privacy as they are visible from outside, facing the hotel yard.

Pros:

Loved all the new renovations, tidy and well set. Loved the bathroom and private spa. Convenience to the city centre can't be beat.

Cons:

Sound from the eat-street karaoke bars got through quite a bit at night. And the parking situation is a bit tough. Admittedly we stayed over a very busy period where there were events on. When coming back at the end of the day we had to park a good 5-10min away and move the car again in the morning.

Pros:

Great central location. High quality fit out and a bit different to standard hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always stay at the Regent when in Rotorua

Overall a pleasant stay in a clean hotel. I would have prefer the pool to open a bit early.
Pros:

Really clean and nice, staff was super helpful. My room was upstairs and the staff made an effort to help me carry my suitcase upstairs

Cons:

The hotel is near a pub, the pub went on with loud music till very late. It was hard to fall asleep.
