Locatie is top maar hotel heeft echt een opknap beurt nodig.

Locatie is geweldig met uitzicht op nieuwe Maas en dichtbij hip Katendrecht. personeel bij incheck heel vriendelijk en informatief.

Cons:

Hotel is echt gedateerd..kamers ruiken muf en gangen zijn niet alleen historisch maar worden helaas ook gedateerd. Ontbijt was redelijk.

Het is een mooie locatie. We hadden mooi uitzicht op Fenix. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

Cons:

Je betaalt voor de geschiedenis en de locatie. De kamer zelf is karig en niks bijzonders. Er was bijvoorbeeld alleen maar een klein miniprullenbakje in de badkamer en verder niks. We vonden het verblijf eigenlijk te duur in verhouding met wat je er voor krijgt.

Achterzijde vh hotel. Zijn achter bezig met een nieuwbouw project. Om 7.00 uur was het gedaan met de rust. Dat was een beetje jammer.

Best Place in Rotterdam for History & Boarding a Cruise
Pros:

I’m a maritime historian so staying here was a MUST: former headquarters for the Holland America Line. The history didn’t disappoint with maritime exhibits, photos, models, etc. And - the rooms: fab. Make sure to get one facing the river (more expensive) as watching the ships come in and dock is part of the thrill. High ceilings, super comfy bed and furnishings fashioned out of luggage, trunks and ship fittings. Also - literally - the cruise terminal is in front of the hotel: just walk to drop off your bags and board.

Cons:

There are steps (about 8) up from the main entrance to an old fashioned revolving door, so you’ll need help with bigger bags. Inside, of course, there are elevators.
