Room was ridiculously hot
The location is very good. The room was very clean and a good size, with an en suite bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Parking for the guests for free. There were also a kettle, cups, plus coffee and tea bags, which I really appreciated. In addition, a very good-sized TV and a fan to cool down the room as the weather was quite warm. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

It’s is very badly run down. The reception is in ruins. There is no air conditioning.
Room was nice
Tv was not tuned properly and kept flickering
It was very quiet and the fan in the room was good.
The bed was far too soft. Wallpaper was peeling off in the centre of the room. The TV was a nice size but I could only watch BBC as there wasn't enough of a wifi signal to tune it to anything else. I tried using my phone as a mobile hotspot but couldn't connect the tv to my phone.

Good value for money
No option to adjust the height of the shower head as it was broken
Staff were lovely and did their best in the heat. Quiet area.
Incredibly hot night meant it was quite hard to sleep.
This hotel was booked for a one night stay as attending a wedding in the local area.
Reception area could do with a bit of an update/refurb for better first impressions but our room was fully functional, had tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board, hairdryer. It was clean, with a very comfy bed so ticked the boxes on what was required for us that evening.
