The actual stay was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very kinds, professional and offered

The are was quite lovely. The decor reflected the unique historic significance of the building.

Cons:

I prepaid for my stay through Booking.com and received confirmation.when I arrived, I was told I could not stay and there was no room for me. I asked staff to consult with booking.com and during their attempt to connect with Booking.com, I was informed a cancellation came in, and so I was allowed to complete my overbite stay.

Lovely old coach house in the centre of town.
Pros:

Beautiful historic building. Friendly staff and a high quality breakfast.

Cons:

No A/c and unfortunately the day and night was exceptionally hot making sleeping uncomfortable.

Comfortable and Luxurious
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable with a very comfortable bed (in the end perhaps the most important). The bar, and the lunge, were both roomy and not cramped as is often the case and breakfast was freshly cooked and generous - this is not a "self-service breakfast" hotel where the food is kept warm under lights.
The building itself is wonderful and a complete maze - joyous!
DEFINATELY a hotel that I will return to.

To catch up with family & friends for charity walk
Pros:

Location was ideal, hence why we choose it, free parking was a bonus, friendly staff, easy check in & out.

Cons:

Far too hot in the room, (but can't blame the hotel for the weather) the fan provided some relief, as we were on the 2nd floor there was an issue opening & leaving the window open safely.

Comfortable stay.
Pros:

Room was spacious and toilets were clean. Staff were really nice and welcoming, great breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Walls looked a little outdated, could do with a fresh lick of paint.
