Peaceful
Uncooked boiled eggs at breakfast on day one.easnt offers anything else
Day 2 beans tasted funny..and scrambled eggs was served instead of fried.
The room was very spacious and comfortable . The food area was lovely
Nothing
Room atmosphere
Comfort, menu and value for money was excellent.
Little bit better cleaning in the bathroom perhaps. Dirty splashes on the tiles.
Location was brilliant for us
Very hot room. Would have liked a mini fridge.
The staff were so helpful and the room was comfortable and cooled -on the day we arrived it was very hot outside. The beds are very comfy, the room is furnished well. All a little dated but beautifully clean.
Nothing to say. Breakfast was great too, with a great choice.
Location, comfortable bed, good tv and pleasant staff. Also quiet at night. The key things were good.
Rooms are tired and dark. Crockery is old and stained. Rooms nead a proper clean of tiles, paint work etc.
Nice room, peaceful location, food on site. Plenty of parking, friendly staff. What more could I ask for.
Great location.
Breakfast was disappointing. Poached eggs were overcooked and did not have runny yolks. Also, the sourdough bread hadn't been toasted. I'd have sent mine back, but we had already waited quite some time for the food to arrive. In their defence (regarding the overcooked poached eggs), there were five of us and four of us had poached eggs.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Quiet location.
What a shame the menu has changed, and chicken liver pate is no longer available! 😉
Ambience.
Lazy staff.
Some abrupt, others took our order and didn’t pass it on. We were waiting for 25 minutes, so enquired about the delay.
The lovely girl (wearing glasses) behind the bar, was very apologetic and helpful.
Some staff gathered, sitting around a table chatting, while we were waiting for coffee refills.
Some breakfast items had run out at the buffet and were not replaced. I prefer a more continental rather than a cooked breakfast, so disappointed.
Not impressed at all.
Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff.
Some noise from public areas and other rooms but only up to 11pm
Lovely staff, excellent breakfast, great facilities
