Very good overall and good value for money
Pros:

Location good, very quiet, friendly reception staff.

Cons:

Attitude of waitress at breakfast service - gave impression we were an inconvenience to her, continental breakfast items cleared before end of service so we were unable to have any .

Ideal place for an overnight stay.
Pros:

Attractive building, sympathetically enlarged and standing in pretty grounds. The bedroom was a good size with comfortable bed and roomy wardrobe, and the bathroom very satisfactory. The dinner menu was a bit unadventurous, and the evening restaurant staff could have been friendlier; but the full English breakfast next morning was excellent.

Cons:

At check-out there was a discrepancy with the small drinks bill from the previous evening’s dinner (paid before we left the restaurant) but this was resolved without problem

Absolutely loved it. Stayed for 1 night as going to a party nearby so was convenient for us. Lovely hotel, all the staff
Pros:

Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money. Very clean

Cons:

Only thing I didn’t like was having an over bath shower but except this is common in these type of hotels

Pros:

Staff, the breakfast, location.

Cons:

A small fidge was in the room but it didn't keep things very cool. Lack of air-conditioning only a very small apparatus that made little difference to the intense heat in the room.

Good quality budget friendly hotel with helpful staff
Pros:

In a good area with plenty of parking. Large twin room
Really friendly staff

Cons:

Saturday night there was a singer in the restaurant - he was good but so loud that you had to shout to be heard and when he took a break he kept music playing at a similar level. We ate quickly and left. Not suitable for a restaurant and really didn't need to be so loud as the restaurant was not busy.
No additional door lock on room door - felt a bit insecure

A very happy dog and human!
Pros:

Very conveniently located for dog show venue.probably the most dog friendly hotel. I’ve ever stayed at on over 20 years.staff went above and beyond after I arrived by AA tow truck after breaking down on the M1 .i was helped to room with my dog ,his kit and my own.he was made to feel very spoiled .the room was on a par with those I’ve paid 4 times the price for .definitely stay here again.

Cons:

A dog waste bin in the car park would be useful.

A most enjoyable stay with excellent service.
Pros:

The location was ideal for our visit to family in the village of Thornton. The welcome on arrival was extremely friendly and we found all of the staff very polite and helpful. Our room was a suite with a settee and 4 poster bed. The restaurant cuisine was very good and the service friendly and efficient.

Cons:

Cannot criticise an excellent stay at The Fieldhead Hotel.🏨 ❤️
