Great hotel in a super location and a great price
Pros:

Location is superb with breathtaking views. The staff (particularly Carol who served us at breakfast) are friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The only complaint was our evening meal. We ordered sirloin steaks which took a long time to arrive and were cold and overcooked.

Pros:

The view from balcony in the room was fabulous
Room and public areas was spotlessly clean
Staff were friendly and helpful
We never had breakfast at hotel but we did have a meal in the restaurant which was excellent very reasonably priced
Location was excellent couple of hundred yards and you were in Ross

Cons:

The hotel would definitely benefit from a lift very difficult climbing 4 floor particularly the date we where there as temperatures were in the mid 30s

Great view, might be difficult to get to rooms
Pros:

The view is amazing, that's the reason I booked. The breakfast was also very good.

Cons:

Design of the room heavily leans on dark red - old fashioned and not pleasant. The hotel is extremely hot, understand the building is old and it probably wouldn't matter but in order to get to our room, we had to go through labyrins of corridors and stairs every single time and some were very uncomfortable. There was not a time when we got it right from the first time and not just us. The hotel should provide better instructions on how to get to rooms.

Cons:

Room was too hot . Just a plug in fan found in the cupboard. . Health and safety reasons can only open window a small amount . . Have to pull out the unit to plug in kettle .
Bathroom had damp mould in the corner because of poor ventilation. Decor ok
