Location great , rooms clean and big. Food excellent

Cons:

Road noise but it is an old building and they have tried very hard with secondary glazing. Personally not used to it.

Nice location, onsite pub with decent grub. Well appointed.
Pros:

Location, on site pub/restaurant, friendly atmosphere, well appointed rooms. good price as was travelling for work with colleagues.

Cons:

No A/C had to prop windows open. but it was a freak heatwave!

Good for the time of the one night stay
Pros:

Was nice rooms - clean and comfortable beds but was so hot on a very hot day with only a desk fan to keep us cool .

Cons:

The heat in room with no aircon but just one fan - did ask for another but couldn’t oblige .

Pros:

Accueil au top pour cet établissement propre et confortable. La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée, salle de bains propre et moderne.
Il est possible de dîner sur place puisque c'est aussi un pub. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet + plats chauds est exceptionnel.
Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

The room was fine. The privacy was not.
A male hotel employee entered my room at 9.10 AM without knocking while I was standing at the sink, topless, brushing my teeth. I went downstairs and reported it. The response was so uninterested it almost counted as a second incident.
I am not asking for a novel. I am asking that staff do not walk in on half-dressed guests and that management does not shrug when told. Until then: avoid.

Fabulous, especially the food
Pros:

Great location on the high street of an old market town with lots of independent shops. Plenty of parking space which was easy to access.

The hotel itself was very clean with lovely decor. The room was very comfortable and spacious.
Staff were very professional, helpful and efficient.
The food was particularly good with an option to swap chips for a salad which is good for us ladies who are always on a diet! I used the calories saved on my main dish and used them on an Eton mess sundae which was delicious and well worth the calories.
Would highly recommend.

The facilities in the bathroom were poor - handwash only and basin wouldn't hold water
Bedroom window permanently stuck open which made it chilly on occasion
