Very attentive and friendly staff would I stay again yes I would
Nothing
An excellent Continental breakfast with interesting fruits.
Can't think of anything.
A character property in the middle of a lovely village. Although on a main road the noise was minimal. We ate there and the food was really good. Staff were helpful and friendly
Nothing
The staff, check in, dining fabulous...... the offering a dinner bed and breakfast was a bonus. Good central location and plenty of parking.
Location
Terrible breakfast
Went across the road to bring back tea and coffee as hotels was so bad
No side plates available on two occasions
Dirty mugs had to reject 4 before we found a clean one
Evening meal was ok
Old building with lots of character.
Bathroom not clean.
Breakfast, Room, dinner, parking, area, staff, historic building. The staff were very helpful as we are elderly .
Biscuits as well as coffee in room. There was only one chair and that was a dinning chair another chair would have been welcomed. The socket for the kettle was under the desk/dressing table difficult to reach also very stiff.
Lovely period building/ decent parking/perfect location. Rooms lovely/clean/well
Not a lot to say here. Only disappointment was very poor shower in one room and not much better in the other.
Room was nice food was fabulous
Water was luke warm for making tea. Had to ask for plates 2 morning in a row to eat our breakfast on. Scrabbled egg eas cold. Check in was impersonal.
Location was where we wanted it to be.
Great staff. Good breakfast. Great characterful hotel.
Shower room a little small, but it’s an old build so more than make up for it.
Disappointed overall , nice looking place . Lacked few details
Room on main road , warm room , open window traffic noise
Beautiful olde worlde hotel, and beautiful village.
Bedrooms very tired, no air con, no USB charger points. smallest air fan, hap hazard parking, we were blocked in when trying to leave for wedding.
it's a comfortable older style pub- hotel - what I expected. I managed to get into the car park, which seemed to have more cars at 6 pm than people in the Inn ( perhaps not a surprise).
There is charm in that the rooms are in what seems a converted Inn gallery . Might be cold in winter
The room was clean and comfortable, the carpet was rather worn and tired. the bathroom/ shower/.wc all worked well . I was surprised that a bathroom without a window did not have an obviously working extractor fan - the receptionist rather batted the point away, saying it was on the list of maintenance tasks
Good size bedroom and bathroom. Staff went above and beyond and that was prior to as well as when my husband fell ill and was taken to hospital. The manager Logan should be recognised by the company. Hopefully they realise what a first class manager he is and how this is reflected in his team.
Nothing of note
Staff in the restaurant was fantastic and the fish and chips was lovely. Outside seating area was well thought out
Hot water didn’t work on the first day. Rooms were very small and grim.
The menu needed something lite on it, perhaps a salad or small plates
