A great place to stay and we will return in the near future
Pros:

An excellent breakfast and evening meal where served.
The room was a little "warm" but that was due to the unusual heatwave experienced in the area during the visit and the staff were very accommodating in locating additional fans when requested.
The strongest point of this Hotel is the quality of the staff. Everyone is exceptionally helpful and friendly and always a greeting with a smile.

Great as always.
Pros:

Unexpected up-grade to a superior room on arrival. I have stayed here many times and it's almost a home from home. Staff are always sp friendly and obliging and the breakfasts are second to none. Love staying here!

Cons:

It is always a very satisfactory stay. Nothing I didn't.t like.

Great selection for breakfast. Both continental and cooked.
Room, very comfortable. Could have done with a better fan as when we stayed, it was very hot with no way to cool down in the room.

Pros:

Everything. The night and morning staff the helped me get away from my ex partner that was abusive towards me one of the ellie helped me realise that he was being abusive toward me and helped me get away when I manged to get away from him when he went to sleep I apresheate wot they did for me xxx

Nice place, good pub but dated and not with the time to make it comfortable.
Pros:

Cheap enough, free parking and friendly staff.

Cons:

I was working away and thought a single would be fine. The room was very small, the shower was terrible with lack of pressure. The furniture was well used, not bedside table, used to have a fridge but was a gap with a plug socket that didn’t work and the other socket was near the bathroom.

Very friendly hotel in Coggleshall.
Pros:

Location was good for the wedding went well attended at Houchins.
Old building full of character.
Very friendly and helpful staff. An active pub with plenty going on in terms of events.
We had both breakfast and dinner there and both were good.

Cons:

The building is old so the rooms get warm in hot weather. However there are fans in the rooms.
