Pros:

Lovely hotel, staff were friendly & helpful. Room was lovely comfortable & clean. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent also had breakfast which was lovely.

Cons:

There was a fire alarm at approximately 4am on our first night. Thankfully it was a false alarm as there was no organisation for getting guests out, no staff on hand to let guests know what was happening. We were left standing outside until we just decided to go back in as everything was fine & we realised it was a false alarm.

Tired hotel but clean polite staff. Eat out.

Restaurant food was very on main course Curry was like soup water even the server said she wouldn’t eat it. Tried The Sunday roast Yorkshire pudding was wet and soggy. Beef fatty and the potato mash loaded with salt and the gravy was to. Ordered the apple dessert that was very nice.

Good place with very friendly staff and a very convenient location for us.
Pros:

Very pleasant space. Recent refurbishments looked very good. Staff were very helpful, particularly the check in person.

Cons:

We had an unfortunate 3.30 am fire alarm wake up call. Staff didn’t supply us with info when we were outside, why or when we could come back in. Totally a one off but a memory.

There was blood on the sheets on the bed when we checked in. Horrible. We did get a change of room but for me wasent good enough
