I thought the hotel was very clean, the rooms aren’t anything extraordinary but definitely match the price point. The beds were very comfy and the water was hot so no complaints. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The biggest let down for me was the breakfast. Went to get something from the hot food and there was a dead fly in the bamberee, then flies hovering around the yoghurt. Just a little off putting, I know this can happen during warm weather just turned me off. I think the breakfasts let down the hotel I asked for a latte and staff said no coffee in the morning only coffee from the kitchen which I would have paid for & the morning is the time it’s needed but anyways I seen a staff member a few minutes later make a latte and leave the restaurant so not sure was it for themselves. Selection for breakfast was minimal & quite greasy. The only thing I would say that let the hotel down was the breakfast. The dinner was nice and reasonably priced for a hotel.

We had a room facing out over the main road. Road noise was loud when window was open, but room was hot when window was closed

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location
Hotel well located. The main areas of the hotel are up to date and decorated nicely, and very clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Cheryl on reception.
The breakfast was poor, rubbery eggs, over cooked bacon and sausages. The hotel room we stayed in was nice and big but very dated which was a shame.
