CERVO Mountain Resort

My wife and I chose CERVO mountain resort for my birthday trip this year, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience there. The reception staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the facility, the town, and things to do. They helped with anything we asked, and were always spot on. The room was very well equipped and delightfully decorated. Always something unique and fun, everywhere you look. The site has an enviable location directly adjacent to the Funicular lift which allowed us to access street level easily, but still have the elevated views at the restaurant and room deck. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say, you have to visit, highly recommended!

Cevo Overlook Lodge is fantastic! We stayed a few nights and it was a great choice of accommodation. First of all, the view of the Matterhorn is glorious, completely unobstructed, really special. The apartment is freshly renovated, super modern, spacious, and comfortable. It’s a place of great relaxation, and I also loved the small SPA area and the daily-changing activity schedule for guests, it’s never boring… great hiking trails just behind the hotel/ apartments. We had dinner twice at Bazaar, and best regards to Chef Max for handling the hand-burn and baklava situation so smoothly :-) We would love to return.

I stayed at Cervo during my trip to Zermatt, and it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The service was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The location offers the perfect balance of being close to nature while still just a short walk from the center of Zermatt. My room had its own private garden, which was the perfect place to relax in the sun after a day of skiing or hiking.

The room was spotless and featured a minibar with a great selection of local specialties. The spa was another highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere and stunning views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was excellent, with both a buffet and à la carte options.

Cervo truly felt more like a second home than a traditional hotel, and I would gladly stay here again.

An unforgettable stay — we can’t recommend it enough!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Cerro in Zermatt, Switzerland, and had an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home — everyone was kind, warm, and welcoming, always with a smile on their face. The hospitality here is truly exceptional.

The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, well organized, and beautifully designed. Room service was outstanding as well. The hotel is also perfectly located, surrounded by a great variety of restaurants and menu options.

Breakfast was amazing, and the waiters were extremely attentive and helpful. The concierge deserves a special mention too — always ready with great suggestions on what to do during the day.

We also loved the spa: a gorgeous space with incredible saunas that are the perfect size and were never crowded.

In short, this is a hotel we wholeheartedly recommend. We can’t wait to come back!

The setting is breath-taking, set in the mountains. Service was beyond compare. They never said no.

ネガティブなところが1つもない最高の宿でした。
駅からの送迎に始まり、マッターホルンを望める部屋、最高に美味しい朝食、クオリティの高いSPAと本当にこの宿を選んで良かったと思います。

SPAに関しては、あちこちにタオルが設置してあり、贅沢に使わせてもらいました。
朝食で食べたフレンチトーストは絶品で、卵料理もたくさん食べました。メインとなる料理についても頼み放題で朝食で1人3つくらい頼みましたが全て宿泊代の範囲内ですのでそこも良かったです。
日本のホテルであるような細かい縛りが少なく、最高でした。

内装外装も凝っており、とても可愛く妻と大はしゃぎでした。
あまりに気にいってしまい、クッションも購入しました。
私の拙い英語に合わせてゆっくり喋ってくださり、コミニケーションも問題ありませんでした。
少し留まっているだけで必ず声をかけてくれ、困り事には全て解決策を提示してくれました。

山の上の方にあるホテルですが、専用EVがあり街に下りるのも簡単でした。
チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってくださり、チェックアウトから2時間ほどした後でも駅まで送迎してくださりました。
スタッフの皆さんはフレンドリーで心地よかったです。
Perfect!!が口癖になりそうです笑

お値段は張りますが、必ずそれに見合ったリターンを得られると思います。
将来絶対にまた訪れたいです。
観光プラスでSPA等を堪能しながらゆっくりするなら、3泊欲しかったなというのが本音です。

The staff are extremely friendly. There is ski in ski out. Breakfast was excellent and every day there was music or DJ for apres-ski. Spa, sauna, and warm pool all available. Location is perfect with quick access to the Funicular and to the Village.

We had a really wonderful stay at Cervo! The location was so easy to ski in and out of. The restaurants were fabulous for dinner and for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive with fresh squeezed juice from a variety of fruits and vegetables, and beautifully cut and presented meats and cheeses. The service was excellent. On the last night we are exhausted after a long day of skiing, and the room service arranged meals room Madre Nostra and Bazaar to satisfy everyone's tastes and brought it to our suite so we could have a lovely cozy dinner in our room. Our suite was gorgeous with it's own living room, dining room, kitchenette, and spacious bedroom. I adored waking up every morning to the perfect view of the Matterhorn. My only point of improvement would be that the suite could use some more closet/shelves for all our things. Thank you Cervo for the beautiful stay! We'll certainly be back!

A fun, design forward stay with a younger, slightly alternative vibe that feels refreshingly different from the more traditional luxury hotels in Zermatt. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, with warm wood interiors, great views, and a cool, laid back energy throughout.

One thing to keep in mind is the layout. The resort is spread across several separate buildings that aren’t connected indoors, so getting to breakfast, the spa, or the ski room means stepping outside and walking in the cold for a few minutes. It’s not the most practical setup, especially in ski boots, but you get used to it.

The spa area is mostly outdoors, with two saunas, one Finnish outside, one steam room inside, plus a small pool. Simple and compact, but nice to have after a day on the slopes.

Overall, a nice stay with plenty of personality and style just not the most convenient design wise.
