Fine for what it was needed for - attending a wedding in Castle nearby.
Pros:

It was clean & room was spacious. Receptionist upon check-in was friendly and was able to check me in earlier. (Didn’t see anyone checking out- just left the key there). Staff who delivered the room service were also friendly.

Cons:

The rooms aren’t soundproof, I could hear the guest next door spluttering all night! They offer room service yet it’s almost impossible for anyone to answer the phone. Got there in the end. I’m not fussy at all when it comes to food but the margarita pizza was atrocious and cost €18. Breakfast next day also wasn’t very tasty. The fruit tasted like it had chemicals of some sort all over it

Uncomfortable, cold stay with no hot water
Pros:

Friendly staff

Cons:

The room was cold and the heating didn’t work. We were given a portable electric heater to help warm us.
No warm water in the morning - we informed reception who knew there was a problem based on other guests reporting it. Yet nothing was done by check out time.
The bath / fittings and it’s surroundings were dirty - there was obvious build up of long term grime/mould.

Pros:

Not much I can say is positive - perhaps the bathroom facilities

Cons:

I booked a double room in Hotel but was moved over to Slaney Suites on arrival - not agreed as I wanted to stay in Hotel for food etc. When I asked how far it is as I had two bags and walking, staff Member staff "You'll be grand its only 2mins". Arrived at 2nd location and outside area was dirty with overflowing bins - and litter strewn along ground. Room key wouldnt work so had to get staff Member to walk over - another 20 mins wait. Bed was 2 singles pushed together, WI-FI was weak, no water in room and TV was broke. Didn't bother with breakfast in the morning.

Pros:

The breakfast was very good with a very good selection.
The facilities were excellent. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Overall we had a good relaxing break.

Cons:

There was not really a good selection on the menu for getting a evening meal plus the bar area for a evening meal was not very clean in some areas with dirty floor and some tables not cleaned. As the facilities were good they could of been better if the jacuzzi inside could of been working as the hot tub outside was working it was not very safe for the elderly with the decking very slippery around the hot tub.

It was ok
Pros:

Breakfast was first class good selection of items .relaxed dining room area.

Cons:

Only 2 staff on bar and we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to us. Staff were just focusing on one side of the bar. Plenty of customers waiting at other side of bar poor service, we gave up and went into town to get a drink. When staff did come to service us not even an apology .
