La suite est dans une maison dans la rue. S'il n'y a rien à dire sur la qualité de la chambre, l'isolation et l'intimité ne valent pas le prix...Nous étions au RDC. Le coffre de l''escalier étant la chambre, chaque passage est extrêmement bruyant. Parquet en bois au dessus, vous entendez chaque pas, chaque voix, chaque chasse d'eau (je vous passe les détails). Les portes ne sont pas isolées, autant dire que vous avez l'impression que le couloir est dans votre chambre. C'est une vieille maison mais au vu du prix d'une nuit..on a pas envie de ça.

excellent and beside that we were very lucky with a gorgeous weather!
Pros:

Very comfy, clean and with a great view over the water. Restaurants and bars within very short walking distance.
quiet night and the room is invinting for longer stay. We will happily return!

Cons:

I found the breakfast limited and very basic for the price paid for the room.

I loved the picturesque Veere.

Cons:

The pictures on Booking made it seem the hotel was in the old fort, while it was on the Kaai, which is fine in itself if it is clear. Also, the hotel room had neither air conditioning nor a fan. Having paid 300 euros for one night to spoil my daughter, I was a bit disappointed. We had a good laugh finding a side table big enough to stick in the window to keep it open so the room could cool down a bit, but it was not what I had hoped, as I had taken her to what was presented as a fancy place.

Excellente découverte de ce lieu magique, avec une authenticité des lieux, gardant la décoration propre à cette auberge, ou on revis les années qui s’y sont déroulées. L’accueil la gentillesse, le sourire font que ce séjour soit parfait. Un petit déjeuner vraiment excellent. Le personnel est au petit soins, petit déjeuner d’excellente qualité, très varie, servi dans de la belle porcelaine. Une vue magnifique sur la mer depuis des chambres. Destination que nous ne connaissions pas et dont on reviendra sans aucune hésitation dans cette même auberge.

Veere is an idyllic but highly touristy place. But extremely beautiful. Happy to have been there.

Cons:

Check in was ok, but rather irritated lady as we checked in at 19.00 after a long drive and there check in finishes at 17.00! Breakfast was quite poor.

Cons:

We logeerden niet in het hotel, maar in een rijhuis wat verder in de straat.
Er werden extra kosten aangerekend bovenop de ´totaalprijs´ die in booking aangegeven werd. Extra kosten voor gas en elektriciteit, toch een beetje krenterig voor een gerenommeerd hotel.
