So much to love about this resort but some of the guests leave alot to be desired. The resort itself is beautiful and in a prime location on Singer Island. We have been Marriott Vacation Club owners since 2004 but come on guests step it up. Rude guests leaving trash all over the place and literally bringing a huge cooler for 10+ people with a dispenser and parking it by pool all day is just downright rude. The resort guests made me feel like I was staying at 2 star hotel. Management needs to do a better job monitoring the pool area. Lots of positive though from:
Clean rooms, great beach access with free beach chairs, plenty of resort activities, friendly staff, and the best parking in all of Marriott Beach Clubs. We have been back twice since March and hope to come back again soon.
I will never come to this resort again. The food and service are absolutely terrible. The staff removed my things from chairs at the pool.
This was marketed to me as a premiere resort. The only nice thing about this resort is the gym and locker room.
The food was terrible. It's all convenient store frozen food cooked in microwaves and roller ovens yet they charge premium prices.
The rooms were not clean, we found a hair in the coffee cup in the cupboard, and 2 empty granola bar wrappers on the floor in the bedroom. The beds are like sleeping on plywood
The management staff and security staff were completely rude.
There is a policy (not written anywhere and not communicated) about items left at pool chairs. I had to attend a 'presentation' in the morning so I placed my book and towel on a chair before I went to the meeting. The presentation that was supposed to be 60 mins ended up being 90 minutes. The security staff removed my things without telling me and then the manager told me the policy is if your items are on a chair for 45 mins they have the right to take them and put them in lost and found. No apology, just that's our policy. When I asked where is this policy documented there was no reply. I found out from other staff and guests that this is a frequent complaint by other guests. So if you come to this resort keep your things under lock and key, do not leave your pool chairs for more than 45 mins or apparently they have the right to remove your items.
Not what i expect from a premier resort and the Marriott brand.
Absolutely love this resort. Great location and beautiful grounds.
Ocean views are wonderful as well as the intercostal.
Front desk is a little hit and miss but still good overall.
Parking can be a little challenging but available.
Definitely recommend, worth the visit.
Enjoy your next vacation at a 2 BR Oceanfront Villa that sleeps 8 with a full kitchen at Marriott Oceana Palms! They have everything in the kitchen to help cook a family meal. Every unit has a washer & dryer and a beautiful view! There are complimentary chaise loungers for the family & you can rent an umbrella when you are down at the beach. There are beach toys for your children to enjoy while playing in the sand. The staff is friendly and helpful! We keep coming back since 2013 because our 7 children enjoy Oceana Palms 🌴 compared to the other Marriott's. There are so many daily activities throughout the day. We really enjoy when CJ leads Aquafit because she makes the class so enjoyable. Our family enjoys Bingo or Trvia by the pool, tea time and Karoke by DJ Bill. I'm so appreciative of the wonderful staff-Andrea, Adam, Eduardo and Yari who work so hard to make sure every guest enjoys making memories with their family!
I am an ambassador with Marriott and have stayed 1800+ nights and this is only the 2nd hotel I will never return to. The cleaning staff is absolutely rude and unprofessional.
Great resort and people. Great job with chair extension. Really hate the sun covering the lap pool so early in the day
Marriott’s Ocean Palms Reflections Bar and Grill
Five stars for server Shelley Gray! . Shelley took the time to make sure my husband and I were happy with where we were seated which meant a lot to us. She was so helpful and knowledgeable clearly explaining different menu items and making sure we had everything we needed. Shelley’s warm and friendly personality made our meal and vacation at Oceana Palms truly special!
Thank you Shelley!
Not really a hotel - the property is 2 bedroom villas. We love it. Stock up the kitchen, or walk to various nearby restaurants. A great place to unwind and relax on a beach.
Love this place. Have been here before. Lovely accommodations with a beautiful ocean view. The weather has been chilly for Florida and the resort ramped up their activity schedule for the guests
One of our favorite properties; great Marriott team + location + property

January, 2026 Visit
We first visited, just the two of us, in Dec., 2024.
Soon my wonderful wife came down with our daughter and her friends visited for their Spring break, Mar., 2025.
Then the three of us visited in Jan., 2026.
We visited for six nights on this trip; after a longer-than-planned travel day (the airline routed us to the wintry north of Detroit in order to fly south… a nice compare-and-contrast we appreciated after-the-fact), we were pleased to meet Shawna in person; Shawna had been talking with my wife pre-arrival, and provided a de-stressing welcome.
For this trip, we rarely left the property, in most part because I worked most of the days, in the room (see below).
We did enjoy making food for ourselves in the room; there are two Publix, one just across the bridge and another just north, heading to Jupiter, maybe and extra 3 minutes further away.
We enjoyed food at Reflections, including:
- Sunday night special… ribs !! and a Miami Vice drink, while watching some of the football with the many other guests
- burgers for lunch, including the especially good Rodeo Burger - with cheese and bacon!!
- good drinks, with and without alcohol (alcohol-free pina coladas are good for any/all ages!)
- gluten free pizza and wings
The Activity Center offered 21 / blackjack, which was fun.
We enjoyed a bit of soccer on the turf field between buildings.
The hot tubs are nice, night and day
Fun on the beach, getting sun, building sand castles, and walking along and enjoying the surf.
The eastern-most point in Florida is about a quarter-mile to the left / north… you can see it from Oceana Palms once you know where to look… it is the one rocky outcropping that is present; just use a map on your app to confirm you are there… pretty neat!
We look forward to returning soon.

Working in the room
Part of the plan was for me to work most of the days, which was fine - the desk next to the bed is just right… has the power and the room has the wifi, and the desk, at least in our room, faces west and offers a great view, good for a brief mental break, and good for getting the eyes to focus further away than just the screen.

One of my fave Marriot Bonvoy vacation clubs! We will return. The facility is lovely and we had a renovated 2 bedroom with ocean views and a huge terrace! Twenty minutes to Palm Beach island is a bit of a bummer though, especially since the surrounding area is a ghetto once off Singer Island. Very few upscale restaurants or amenities (yoga, barre, nails, salons, cute lunch spots) are walkable. Even so, we would stay here again because the property is top notch. We met many experienced points people here who also said it is their favorite vacation club! We loved the steam room in the locker room and the adults only hot-tub.
We have stayed at more than one place on Singer Island. I'd choose this one. Now, the rooms are being redone, so, as with the other Vacation Clubs, we no longer like the beds. I did have the topper I bought for use in other Vacation Club properties on this trip, so that helped some. I DO like the redone rooms here more than the others. It reminded me of
Africa in some ways, and there was a lot of black and white, but I liked it. Personally, I'd lose the brass fish in the living room area -- less can be more. The lamps are good, though, the rug is better than the others, I liked the chairs, the shower has become HUGE. The balcony was wide and well-appointed. Parking is in a garage, paid, of course, but it is convenient and covered.
The staff is friendly. The kitchen is attractive. I do wish the Vacation Club properties had cheese graters but, with the bed changes, it's pretty much moot. There is a washer and a dryer, apartment size. Did no laundry, but they are there.
The weather did not cooperate on this leg of our trip, and ocean activities were discouraged. The surf was pretty rough. However, I did stop at the bar on the way back from the beach and am pleased to report that this guy had wine that was not in a can...could be the 7 years he said he spent in France.
I would stay here again...although I'd probably buy another foam mattress topper before I arrived.
Took a 4-night family vacation at Oceana Palms. This was an excellent vacation and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The room size was perfect with one bedroom with a king and the other with 2 queens, two full baths, and full kitchen.
Pros: Room was well kept and very clean, staff was amazing (Dilion at the front desk and CJ's classes were excellent), easy access to the pool and beach, easy to get chairs at both at any time (we were there the week before thanksgiving), easy in and out with car, excellent gym (well kept, clean, excellent equipment choices that were all working), the surrounding area is beautiful, etc.
Cons: Hot tubs need to be hotter (if this is my only con, they did really good)
We will return!
Positives:
- Huge balcony facing the sea
- Large, comfy rooms, good furniture, good beds
- Friendly staff (Aniss was very helpful, thanks!)
- Remote location, not too many people at the beach
Negatives:
- The hotel has no real restaurant or bar; the restaurant serves food "McDonalds-Style", definitely nothing fancy...
- There are not many alternatives in walking distance, if you are looking for a better restaurant
We would describe the hotel more like a luxury motel. Nevertheless, we would possibly come back, just for the sound of the ocean waves during the night.
spacious
I stayed at Marriott Oceana Palms in Palm Beach, FL in one of their two-bedroom suites, and I’ve never experienced such a frustrating and unprofessional situation at a Marriott property.
I had already paid in full through Booking.com, but when I checked in, the front desk said they needed my card for “incidentals.” Instead of just placing a small hold, they charged me again for the entire stay!
When I went down to fix it, a staff member named Haley told me she would “take care of it” and that I’d see the refund within two hours. Of course, no refund ever appeared. The next morning, to make things worse, I saw that they charged me AGAIN — now I had been billed twice for a room that was already paid for.
I went back to the front desk again, and the manager was completely unhelpful. His response was, “I don’t know what happened,” and then told me he couldn’t refund me right away because he had to “check me out first.” When I agreed and told him to go ahead, he said it doesn’t work that way and that he needed to “talk to his business partners.” What kind of answer is that?
I left feeling angry, confused, and out a large amount of money with no clear resolution. It’s unbelievable that a Marriott resort would mishandle payments like this and leave guests to deal with the mess.
Be very careful if you stay here — double-check your credit card charges. This experience completely ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. I will not be returning to this property, and I highly recommend booking elsewhere unless you want to spend your vacation arguing over billing mistakes.
We did not stay at the location but did attend our yearly Marriott Vacation Club meeting with updates to our club ownership at Ocean Palms. The entire staff provided great information while maintaining the Marriott spirit without any pressure to upgrade. The sales team are professional and friendly, answered all of our questions and provided updated information that will benefit us for years to come.
