Un superbe séjour dans cet hôtel, très bien situé au cœur d’Hanoï, et surtout un service sans aucune fausse note

Good location and excellent staff for a short stay, but the rooms do not meet five-star expectations
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights as a group of 8, occupying four Executive Rooms with windows on the 7th and 8th floors.

The hotel has an excellent location near Hanoi’s Old Quarter. All attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. We would especially like to mention Hannah, Anna, Jen, and Kevin, who always did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rest of the team, including housekeeping, were also very kind and welcoming.

The hotel has a certain charm and offers facilities such as a bar area, gym, and rooftop pool.

Cons:

However, our main concerns relate specifically to the Executive Rooms we stayed in. Based on the building’s design, we suspect that some of the rooms on other floors may be similarly compact.

The rooms were extremely small for a five-star hotel. Out of curiosity, we measured them and estimated that the rooms ending in 05, including the bathroom and toilet, were no more than approximately 15 square metres, even allowing for some flexibility. The rooms ending in 04 may have been 1 or 2 m² larger, but they did not feel close to the advertised 20 square metres at booking.com.

Storage space was also very limited. Much of the small wardrobe was occupied by the minibar and safe. The luggage shelf could accommodate only a cabin-size trolley or a small suitcase; with a larger suitcase, the wardrobe door could no longer be closed. Guests travelling with more than two suitcases may therefore find it difficult to store their belongings.

The shower itself was a reasonable size, but the toilet was very cramped. Guests over 190 cm tall would probably find it particularly uncomfortable. Even those of us between 170 and 180 cm found the space difficult to use comfortably with the door closed.

The rooftop pool is very small and is more suitable for cooling off than for swimming. The corridors were also warm and somewhat stuffy, as there did not appear to be any effective cooling there. The rooms had split air-conditioning units, which worked adequately, although they were neither as quiet nor as efficient as a central air-conditioning system.

Unfortunately, the rooms did not look as spacious or bright as they appeared in the photograph shown on booking.com or their websites. The photos seem to focus mainly on the larger rooms with balconies and appear to have been taken with wide-angle lenses and additional lighting.

Guests expecting a spacious five-star room based on those images may be disappointed.

The hotel also seemed somewhat less well maintained than expected.

Posizione ottima comoda per tutto a pochissimi minuti dal lago, stanza pulita, colazione buona e varia e personale gentile, per queste motivazioni lo risceglierei anche se sicuramente non è un 5 stelle, almeno per gli standard europei

Ho prenotato e pagato una notte in più, avevo avvisato dell'orario del nostro arrivo e comunque al nostro arrivo la stanza non era pronta e ci hanno messo tempo a trovare la prenotazione. Inoltre la stanza era veramente calda, vi sconsiglio una stanza al nono piano, corridoio non condizionato.

Pros:

Emplacement, accueil, chambre, petit-déjeuner, dîner, tout était parfait.
Excellent séjour, en particulier grâce à Kaycee.

Cons:

La piscine sur le toit est tout de même riquiqui, c’est plutôt un grand jacuzzi. Mais pas grave…

Fantastisch.
Pros:

Perfecte locatie dichtbij het gezellige centrum. Het personeel is heel erg behulpzaam en als regelt direct als je iets nodig hebt. Je komt niets tekort.
