Did the job but could be better.
Pros:

The property was a great location for the Autodrome and the food very good.

Cons:

The restaurant closing at 8pm and the bar at 9pm on a warm summer evening. As guests, we went back to our hotel hotel room as we couldn’t drive as had a few drinks in the sunny courtyard before finding this out.

Staff were sat around, on eclipse night this should have been buzzing- but the restaurant was soul-less. I’d say there were more staff than customers. There was plenty to keep them occupied- the tables outside were filthy, cigarette buts all over the floor, cobwebs all over the fencing. If it’s so quiet, look at why and improve it. It’s not just ‘the way it is’ as sometimes ‘it’s the way you are’.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and reasonable value. Would happily stay here again…but fix that window catch please!
Pros:

Very friendly staff on arrival, Exceptionally clean, spacious twin room, comfortable beds, good refreshment tray in room.

Cons:

The catch on the window was broken which wasn’t ideal in the hot weather we are experiencing, and I noticed someone had mentioned this in an earlier review so it is something that has not been addressed.
Breakfast service was very slow on the Saturday morning, but the waitress was great.

The Queens Head inn
Pros:

There is parking onsite. The room was nicely decorated and the pub had a homely pub feel. The bathroom was decent with a shower over the bath. We had a bottle of water each left out for us along with the tea/coffee making tray. The hotel was quirky (going up to the bedroom) and had a games/books area on the landing. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and was a decent size. Was able to swap tomatoes for another item on the full English breakfast. Breakfast was between 8:00 & 10:30am which is reasonable for a weekend. We checked out of our room before having our breakfast which worked well for us

Cons:

The pub closed at 10pm (which is probably because it was very quiet),

Gorgeous little B&B, staff are so kind and helpful. Would 100% recommend.
Pros:

Lovely little b&b, beer garden outside, staff were so friendly and helped us check in early for our event. Location is great. Every staff member we saw spoke to us, didn’t try the breakfast but they asked if we still wanted it despite being a couple minutes past check out. Rooms were cosy, bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Other than bathroom being slightly outdated I can’t fault this property whatsoever

Good location…… but not very clean or comfortable
Pros:

Not much, the bar staff were friendly, attentive and a good laugh.

Cons:

It was pretty tired, lacked facilities and felt a bit grubby.
The bathroom in particular felt uncomfortable to clean in, even a shelf hanging off the wall hadn’t been fixed which would take 2 mins!
