The hotel is on the Cotsworld Way and so is an excellent stopping point. The views are exceptional.
After the first day we had to change rooms because of a water leak. In the evening the meals were good but one beer had run out and the only alternative was undrinkable. The second breakfast was below standard, the bacon was tough, and the only member of staff on duty surly. My biggest complaint is that although Green King advertise free wi-fi, it is not. You have to give personal details, including your date of birth, in order to set up an account. There is no alternative. This is unreasonable, and potentially damaging if this data is misused or stolen. I will avoid Green King Hotels in the future.

We liked the view but did not want to sit on the chairs in our room as they needed a clean.
We booked a garden room, they do not tell you that it is on the main road and that the beer garden is outside. The room was very dirty, it needs a good clean. The remote control for the tv was absolutely dirty, I picked it up with a tissue to move it out of the way. I did not make myself a cup of tea as I did not want to look inside the kettle. We had a meal there in the evening. I know we cannot expect much from a Greene King and we didn't, it met our expectations. we could not wait to leave early the next morning. Overall if you want cheap and cheerful then this is your place although I have stayed in better accommodation for less money.

Excellent spot to stay along the cotswolds way! The bed was super comfortable. 20% discount for a meal at the attached bar is worth noting if you are staying here as the food and service is incredible.
The Location and food quality
Irrer Blick ins Tal! Da die Lage perfekt ist, direkt an der Straße mit Blick, ist eben auch mit Verkehr zu rechnen.
Wenn man gerne mit offenem Fenster schläft, ist es natürlich etwas laut.
Man musste häufiger an die Bar gehen, um das Personal zu suchen, da die Reception nicht immer besetzt war.

Das Personal war sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.
Das Zimmer und im Besonderen das Bad war sehr Dreckig. Haare und Müll vom Vorgänger. Die Lüftung im Bad ist extrem laut, im Boden unter dem Tepuch ein loses Brett über das ich mehrfach gestolpert bin und auch vor dem Fenster lief der Ventilator des Kühlhauses konstant sehr laut, wodurch schlaf eher schwierig war.
