Very comfortable accommodation along the Cotswold Way.
Für eine Übernachtung auf dem Cotswolds Way völlig in Ordnung. Man isst lecker im Restaurant und die Angestellten sind nett und geben sich Mühe.
Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und es wurde zu wenig erneuert, dafür zahlt man doch ähnlich viel wie in anderen Hotels auf dem Weg.
The location and views are awesome. Right on Cleeve Hill and perfect for walkers and hikers.
The water broke, hte place needs an upgrade, rooms were not as represented, and the staff was difficult to work with.

Rooms are a bit ‘tired’ in need of some updating. Bar and food not billed to room and have to be paid individually. Would prefer one billing system
The location of the Rising Sun is just fabulous, as the views from the restaurant and the seating area are hard to beat! We received a warm welcome, and all staff were helpful and friendly.
Our room was on the small side, but we had a comfortable bed, and a great bathroom. There were tea-making facilities, too.
Ample parking space is available on site.
The hotel is really well decorated, outside and in, and we found it really relaxing to sit outside in the evening.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice in both hot and cold options.
We had a lovely stay, thank you.

room - looked like a museum from the 2nd world war. TV tiny and old. Curtains dirty. Bed uncomfortable.

Great location and a wonderful view. We stopped here while walking the Cotswolds Way and enjoyed the pub and restaurant. The rooms were clean.
The rooms were very dated, and while not a hot night, the room remained stuffy and uncomfortably warm.
