Hotel Arena

J‘avais déposé deux coussins vers la réception en fin de journée. Vers 20h15, je suis montée en chambre. 15 minutes plus tard, en ressortant pour aller au spectacle des arènes, les coussins avaient disparus. Indépendamment du peu de valeur des coussins, je trouve cela regrettable, sachant que la porte d’entrée est verrouillée. Donc il ne peut s‘agir que d‘un client de l’hôtel.

It was the fourth day of our Italy tour, and my mother and I were surviving on only an hour of sleep because our bus was delayed. That's why I booked this place through Booking.com. I wanted to rest and sleep upon arrival, and I was told the reception was open 24 hours. Don't believe it, the reception wasn't even open for 5 hours in total, let alone 24. The door is coded, by the way. You can't get in if you don't know the code. It says to contact Booking for Self Check-in, but how was someone supposed to do that when they didn't even see my early check-in request and didn't check Booking? Another incident with the door: in the evening (around 9 PM), two tourists arrived and were locked out because there was no one at the reception. We opened the door for them. Can someone explain to me how a reception desk advertised as open 24 hours can't be open in the evening?
There were numbers posted on the door, but no one answered when we called. My mother and I arrived at the hotel around 6:00 AM and waited for hours for the reception to open. After ringing the number on the door five times, someone finally came (We waited for someone to arrive from around 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM for that "someone" to come and take care of us).
The woman who assisted us was not at all polite and hadn't even bothered to check my "Early Check-in" request from Booking.com because we were tired, and she said she couldn't let us in. The lady couldn't find the reservation I made at first. There was nowhere to sit at the reception, only two stools outside, so we went there to rest. I dozed off for a while, and my mother stayed with me. When I woke up, we were asked to leave those two stools outside because I had fallen asleep, and we were told that our situation had damaged the hotel's reputation.

Das Hotel hat nicht einmal ein nach außen hin sichtbares Hotelschild, sondern nur ein aufgeklebtes DINA4 Blatt im Hoffenster hängen, was nicht sehr seriös und auch nicht gastfreundlich wirkt. Ohne Frühstück sind 160€ pro Nacht einfach sehr viel Geld…
