Pros:

Staff location breakfast

Cons:

Air conditioning was broken and we were just informed when we arrived. They tried to help with fans but sleep was not great because of that. I know this is not totally under their control but I really value a fresh place to sleep so this was a downside of the stay. The rest was great.

unforgettable stay in grand hotel opduin!!
Pros:

excellent location , you are surrounded by beautiful nature, the forest path starts just outside the hotel and the beach is a lovely 5 min walk, the hotel is very clean ,quiet, and elegant and the breakfast was amazing ! Special thanks to the receptionists and Elena , the lady in the breakfast room, extremely kind and helpful ! I loved to hear the seagulls from my room early in the morning... We can t wait to visit you again! Texel is a paradise!!!

Very pleasant stay, hotel was very nice, great location, staff very friendly and professional.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, location was amazing, close to the beach and the small village, very calm place, facilities were good

Cons:

Gym could be better, some of the machines didn't function and were very outdated

Pros:

De kamer was ruim, bed lag prima. Personeel was vriendelijk. Diner in het restaurant was goed, het ontbijt ook. Zwembad was lekker, koud en klein maar lekker om af te koelen. Koelkast was fijn.

Cons:

Airco deed het niet, hadden een ventilator gekregen maar kamer bleef erg warm (wel restitutie gekregen).
Parkeerplekken waren erg smal en te weinig voor het aantal gasten die er kunnen verblijven. Niet veel zenders op tv, kon chroom cast niet connecten met de tv.
Met het douchen werd de badkamer wel wat nat.

In dit hotel blijft het geweldig vertoeven en wat de slogan vroeger al was dat geld nog steeds deze was heel simpel maar
Pros:

Wat aan dit hotel zo heerlijk is dat zodra je binnen ben je een gevoel van gastvrijheid krijgt en een thuiskom gevoel.

Het eten gemaakt van veel al lokale producten de rust in het hotel en de geweldige ligging vlakbij zee is waar je heerlijk kan bijkomen van het drukke hectische leven is geweldig.

Zeker niet te vergeten het kundige en behulpzame klantvriendelijke personeel dat bij het eerste contact erg hartelijk niet gemaakt maar oprecht.

Verder kwa bar,restaurant,zwembad alles in dit hotel klopt en waar men nog een stapje meer doet voor de gast.

Echt een enorme aanrader dit hotel en ja ook wij komen weer zeker terug dank team Grand Hotel Op Duin!!!👌🏻Complimenten

Uit eerdere ervaringen daar wij hier vroeger veelvuldig kwamen is nog steeds niet veranderd dat als wij onze zoon mee name deze op een uitklap bed moest slapen wat zeer oncomfortabel is voor vind bij een hotel van deze statuur er ook als bij de con collega’s een familiekamer gesitueerd had mogen worden met twee normale dubbele bedden.

Er stond 1 glas in kastje waar nog lippenstift op zat. Honden in hotel
Word ik niet altijd blij van. Blaffen en een ongelukje ( plasje) op de gang. Maar hondenbaasjes zullen blij zijn dat honden welkom zijn.

Groot efficient hotel met weinig sfeer
Pros:

UItstekend en uitgebreid ontbijt, bij mooi weer ook op het terras. Kamers de juiste omvang evenals de badkamer. Goede bedden. Ruim parkeerterrein waar je gratis kan parkeren en je loopt vanaf het terras zo binnendoor naar het strand.

Cons:

Het hotel heeft aan de buitenzijde de uitstraling van een lokaal ziekenhuis of kantoor. weinig opsmuk. de binnenzijde is efficient zonder poespas hetzelfde geldt voor de kamers. Waarbij een van de medewerkers ergens heeft gelezen dat dressoir kastjes uit de jaren '60 nog hip zijn. Helaas was tijdens ons zomerse weekeind de airco net stuk en de sauna net buiten gebruik ivm renovatie. Jammer dat dit niet werd vermeldt bij de boekingsbevestiging een dag voor aankost. De compendatie voor de kapotte airco, 2 mini flesjes water. Ik zie mogelijkheden tot verbetering.
