This is a heritage property with old world charm. Our suite was massive, and we loved the painted ceiling and beautiful artwork. The breakfast room whilst small had everything we needed. The property is within walking distance to all the major attractions and being so close to the castle was an extra bonus. The property also has a lovely front room where you can relax to wait for a late flight pickup.
The mattress was on the firm side so may not suit everyone.
emplacement parfait pour les visites du château et de la vieille ville. Pas besoin de transport en commun
très belle chambre et très bon petit déjeuner
The location and historical building. Room 103 is very spatious and the interior is very nice. Breakfast is good.
We are tall people. The bed is only 200cm.

Nepříjemný personál a bohužel snídaně se nedoplňovala, takže pokud došel chleba.. mate smůlu a další nebyl k dispozici
Super schoon en de ligging is fantastisch
.
Indretningen og stemningen var helt særlig! Og så lå det så smukt lige ved slottet. Meget roligt om natten. Lækker morgenmad.
Jeg er 180 cm høj og sengen var lidt kort til mig. Det var svært at styre temperaturen i badet.

I would highly recommend the King Charles Hotel. First class service from all of the staff. We were looked after very well and also had use of lounge for our family (10 adults) get together. Lovely large rooms with plenty storage. Good selection of hot and cold items for buffet breakfast. The hotel is on a hill near the castle, but don't let that put you off. An easy walk down to the main town and cheap taxis available for going back up. Definitely recommend staying here.
Świetna lokalizacja. Bardzo ciekawy antyczny wystrój. Miła obsługa. Polecamy.
Malutka winda.
Just a beautiful traditional building. Gorgeous stained glass windows
Prosecco on arrival
Very friendly helpful staff.
Huge room.
My only complaint is I needed longer there !
Perhaps offer decaff coffee or tea at breakfast a very very minor thing though

Stayed 3 nights, great location. Clean, friendly helpful staff. We arrived early they stored our baggage so we could walk around and see the city before check in. It is on a big hill but just about everything is within walking distance.
Booked a superior room through easyJet holidays for me and my husband as it is very reasonably priced on their website. Pleasantly surprised by the spacious room. It is absolutely brilliant for history lovers as the decor takes you back in time.
The staff were always really helpful to us.
We requested that our room be made up each day by hanging the door handle request outside our room, and the household staff did a splendid job.
If returning from town, I recommend catching the tram 22 to Proholec as it is a gentle walk down rather than climbing the steep hill.
If you turn left from the hotel and up the sloping hill, you will find yourself in the castle grounds rather than climbing the hundred steps which you would do from lower down the hill.
There is a lift in the hotel but not suitable as wheelchair accessible as it is a narrow lift.
We absolutely loved our stay here. I'm not a big fan of breakfast and usually just have a coffee, but I saw a wide selection in the mornings in the cosy breakfast room. If we return to Prague, we would return to this hotel and splash out on a junior suite, although the superior room was more than spacious for us two.
