Taj Falaknuma Palace

My wife and I stayed at Taj Falaknuma hotel from 23rd morning to 25th morning (two nights). Our experience was superb. The atmosphere was grand and very hospitable right from the time of arrival. All the staff was very cordial. The room was very well appointed. The view of the city from the hotel, and especially while having breakfast at the terrace was just superb. The greenery and foliage created an excellent atmosphere. It was good value for money.
Just two observations:
1. The drive to this beautiful property was generally good, but the part through the old city gave hiccups.
2. While adding elevators may disturb the heritage value, a few elevators tucked in somewhere, hidden from the eye, may be considered if there is space for them. It would assist senior citizens quite a bit. (The one existing elevator is too small and does not go to the top floor.)
On the whole, a memorable stay.

Had a wonderful and truly memorable experience at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, where we came to celebrate my retirement.

The hospitality was exceptional, and the entire team made our celebration even more special. Everyone was extremely courteous, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.

I would especially like to appreciate Sunaina, Priya, Sudarshan, and Sudhakar for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel truly special and ensured that my retirement celebration was a beautiful and unforgettable occasion.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Taj Falaknuma Palace team for making such an important milestone in my life so memorable.

We loved the hospitality, care and pampering at the property during our stay.

We were thoroughly spoilt by the FnB team, helmed by Nasir and Santosh. The staff are very intuitive and eager to make you feel at home in every context. Be it indulgent traditional dishes that were real novelties, or digestive drinks after heavy meals, or simply some extra papadums...some went above and beyond - to name a few: Shyamantika, Nitin, Hanif, Saroj, Salman, Sudhakar, and even Chaaru, who brought the takeaway cup so intuitively, everyday, after asking on the first day. Chef Dinesh introduced himself and was kind enough to make a few off-the-menu dishes for us on day 2 of our stay. They all project the same ethos, that can only be a top down approach forged by the GM Mr. Shrikent. Amazing!

Latha in reservations is impressively prompt and efficient . A few people at the front office need special mentions as they made accommodations for us, especially given our tiring schedule during the trip, to make it as comfortable and convenient for us. Sravya, Shiba, Shunaina , Aabid and Qayyum were standouts even amongst the fabulous staff.

We love coming back because we love the pampering to be honest. Thank you all for making our stays so refreshingly consistent.

Historical palace and completely different experience. You are treated like royalty. Palace tours, Sufi qawwali. Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff.

If you are staying at this hotel, it should just be to stay and enjoy the amenities and activities.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The palace, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and hospitality were all excellent. A special thanks to Monika, the cleaning team supervisor, for taking such great care of us and for the lovely handwritten letter that truly made our day. Also, a big thanks to Hima for the beautiful room decoration and thoughtful touches.

We stayed for one day, our experience of Check in is great they have upraded our Room ,and arranged a cake cutting for our wedding anniversary, The palace tour is nice, we had our dinner in Celestia restaurant, Sudhakar has guided us in selecting the items Nasir has given good sevice ,the pizza is very delicious, Sudhakar has arranged a Taj signature cake again for our wedding anniversary for dinner very good service by Sudhakar. Morning lunch we had in Adda the ,pathar ka gost dish is very delicious. Overall our stay is nice we enjoyed a lot.

Sudarshan was a excellent employee must has to say his care & his dedication shown a great endeavours in taking guest prospect to the every core of need.

Our stay at Taj Falaknuma Palace was a wonderful experience and truly reflects the grandeur of royal luxury.

The royal welcome, beautiful palace, rooms, and overall service were excellent. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist. The food was good overall, although I felt there was one area that could be improved.

I had booked a package that included breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The main disappointment was that the same menu was offered for both lunch and dinner, which made it less enjoyable, especially when staying for multiple days. Having more variety between lunch and dinner would make the dining experience much better.

Apart from that, everything was excellent. A must-visit place if you want to experience royal luxury, heritage, and exceptional hospitality.

A special mention to Sudhakar and Nasar for their excellent service at the restaurant. They were very attentive, courteous, and made our dining experience pleasant.

Also, Ramesh from Housekeeping deserves special appreciation for his quick response and excellent service. His prompt assistance and attention to detail were truly appreciated.

Overall, a memorable stay and a wonderful royal experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Taj for a night. We had really great time here. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The people are courteous and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. Special mention to Sudhakar and Nasar who were very kind and attentive. :)

The food, ambience and hospitality of the staff was lovely. The sfaff was very friendly and attentive and made us feel very special especially Nasar, sudhakar and satyajeet elizabeth.

Right from the gate, the carriage ride, the welcome drink, flower shower, check-in process and then everything thereafter was all sorts of spectacular! Sravya & Dhara at the reception were super warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Also thank you for the cake surprise for my Mom! It was really thoughtful :)
The historical tour by both the guides was superb and we enjoyed it so much we ended up taking it twice during our stay. The guy at the gym also was super sweet, i have forgotten his name. The high tea was also superb! So was the peacock sighting experience - truly beautiful! The staff at Celeste and Adaa - Sujata, Elizabeth were super sweet. Special shout out to Satyajit, Sudhakar & Nasar who genuinely made us feel like royalty every time we visited for dinner or breakfast!

Planning a large family celebration can be overwhelming, particularly when there are countless details, last-minute changes and requests to coordinate. He was available whenever we needed him, always willing to answer our many questions, accommodate last-minute changes and assist with procurement and arrangements.
What stood out most was his genuine sense of ownership. He didn't simply help us organise an event — he made us feel that its success mattered to him personally. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire planning process considerably easier for us.

Our arrival at the palace was made even more magical by Ms. Sravya, whose welcome set the tone for the entire stay. She made all of us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. The warmth, grace and attention to detail were truly exceptional and perfectly befitting the magnificent palace.
The grandeur of Falaknuma is, of course, breathtaking, but it is the people who bring the palace to life — and Sravya did exactly that.

*Exceptional Food & F&B Service*

A special mention must go to Saurabh, the F&B Manager, who, along with Mr. Gaurav, Kamal, Malhar and Santosh, ensured that every meal throughout our stay was memorable.
The food was consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast at Gol Bungalow, the welcome lunch at Celeste, and the food served at the final birthday celebration were all outstanding. Our guests were extremely pleased not only with the quality and variety of the food but also with the service accompanying it.
The team was attentive without ever being intrusive, and their efforts were clearly visible in the smooth execution of every meal.

*Front Office & Guest Experience*
We would also like to thank Mr. Imran, Front Office Manager, and his wonderful team — Abid, Priya, Dhara and especially Mr. Qayyum — for taking such good care of us throughout our stay.
They were consistently available to assist us with anything we needed, from our arrival through to the check-out process. Their warmth, efficiency and willingness to help made a significant difference, especially during what was a very busy and emotional family occasion.
