Highly recommend this lovely hotel an easy 5 min walk to centre of city
Pros:

Massive lovely room, with stunning floor to ceiling window view over the river and into the town. Wonderful reception area with free guest coffee 24 hours, small bar and nice areas to sit and hang out. The room was very well appointed with a huge bathroom too and hot showers, good linens and comfy beds. The location was superb, very close to the main town centre only a 5 min walk, with cafes all around us. Very quiet location too and the standard of the hotel exceeded my expections, as did the service and staff. Highly reccommend

Pros:

Het hotel ligt op wandelafstand van de Grote Markt en is een aanrader als je een weekend naar Groningen wilt. Het hotel wordt momenteel verbouwd, maar van de werkzaamheden hadden wij geen last doordat het weekend was. Na de verbouwing zal het er prachtig uitzien. Het hotel serveert een heerlijk ontbijt in de ochtend.

Great, restful, and energizing. We love Groningen and this hotel was part of our overall enjoyment.
Pros:

We stayed in the apartment. It was large and comfortable with two separate bedrooms. I loved the location and enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The kitchen was very well equipped and staff were the best!

Cons:

The parking situation wasn't great, but no one needs a car in this location anyway so we returned our rental and that was much better.

De prijs van de kamer was meer dan verdubbeld ten opzichte van normaal, omdat er een concert was in de stad. De evenementenprijs stond hierdoor niet meer in verhouding met de kwaliteit

Very disappointing

The hotel had exterior construction going on which was not mentioned on Booking.com at the time of booking. We were woken up at 7.00am by workmen who were on the scaffolding just outside hotel room window. Not very nice on a Saturday morning and a huge intrusion on our privacy. The room-rate is totally out of whack given the construction going on.
