Our restaurant and bar are temperately closed from 14th Nov 2021 till further notice.
Reception hours are Monday to Sunday and Public holidays 8 am-7 pm.
If you expect to arrive outside these hours you must inform the property in advance in order to arrange late check in and key collection. If you do not inform the property a late check in fee of NZD $50 may apply.
Please note that there is a 3% charge when you pay with an American Express or Diners Club credit card.

A bit dated but fair value for money.
Clean room at a good price.
Very noisy, bed was not very comfortable, place was clean but is very dated.

I arrived after closing. There was no security light where the lock box was, so it was dark and somewhat foreboding. Because it was called a hotel and conference centre i had bigger expectations. Its more like a motel that offers a simple continental breakfast. The breakfast was more like a backpacker style breakfast. The bread and cereal were not covered and there was a fly hanging around. They had a self help proper coffee machine, but I had difficulty operating it even with the instructions as i have never used one. When I asked the lady at the front desk for assistance she appeared annoyed. She did help me but did the bare minimum and was unfriendly which was disappointing, especially as I was going through a difficult time with a child in hospital. Customer service training would be beneficial.

Very noisy and I didn't feel safe. I find it quite expensive for the standard of that motel.The pictures are deceiving, my room didn't look anywhere like the ones advertised. Quite run down.

Getting fresh linen every day tidy room and unfortunately the beds were to hard good stay would come bk again

Ground floor room change at no extra cost. Spa bath was great
Only had microwave
Room size was good. Having microwave and some cutlery in the room helped.
Though not required, but having electric blanket in the room was another nice to have amenity.
Upstairs room with only stairs as the option, Not much luggage no senior in our group so it was manageable. It would be better to know this in advance for someone frequently travelling with kids / aged parents.
Wi-Fi was not stable, even the whatsapp call had issue with connection before dropping.
Cutlery was provided, but we are asked to clean wash used cutlery, not exactly what you expect at a hotel.
Avoided motels and lodge while searching and ended up with these rules was not an experience we expected.
Great location, easy access and staff were very accommodating. Requested a late checkout and they were happy to oblige. Very close to amenities and had no issues at all. Thank you for my stay!
The bed was a little hard, but other than that, it was fine.
