I would strongly recommend Lares de Chacras. The property is comfortable and calm, with excellent amenities. The location is perfect, near lots of great restaurants and bars, but away from the busy of the city and in a very safe neighbourhood. The area is a short walk/cycle to lots of bodegas and wineries in Luján de Cuyo, but also well located to drive out to the Uco Valley and other wine areas.
The staff are the real highlight of the hotel, with everyone eager and ready to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Gabriel in particular is brilliant, and helped us organise a great day cycling between vineyards. Thank you so much to all the staff!

An absolute delight from the glass of wine at arrival through to the return transfer to the airport. The property is a lovely oasis but it was the staff that made it so memorable. They were so helpful with any questions we had, and their suggestions on wineries to visit and activities to complete was perfect. I would highly recommend this property as a place to stay in Mendoza.
We loved everything about Lares de Chacras — the beautiful stone property, the wine cellar, the pool, and the nightly tastings. The staff were incredibly attentive, arranging tours, drivers, and restaurant bookings without us ever having to ask twice. A wonderful base for exploring Mendoza’s wine region. Highly recommend.

Amazing property - the staff was incredible. They took great care of us - they checked in to see if we were ok when our flight was late and asked if we needed an express breakfast in case we were leaving early (we weren’t). The breakfast was great and great quality. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable.
The location is a nice easy get away from the city center and has a few cute restaurants with in walking distance. Can’t recommend them enough!
