Great place to stay with friendly staff room was spot on. Especially with a/c as it was a warm spell.
The staff were all brilliant and they couldn't do enough for you. There was a good choice of breakfast on offer and the location was perfect, this is why we chose to come back to the Orchid Hotel and the bed was lovely and comfortable.
Where we've been here twice before the standards seem to have dropped. We found the safe wasn't working so reported this but the staff couldn't get hold of the person that day to resolve the problem and it never was resolved.The lift was out of order, there was a light bulb missing from one of the shades, the bathroom sink plug did not work, there was no hand towel in the room so had to request for one and the carpet needed a good clean. In the bathroom it showed the anti slip mat was located below the sink, but again had to request one which the maid got immediately. We think we were located near an outside air conditioning unit which kicked in at late odd hours during the night so this kept my partner awake as he is a very light sleeper. It appears that the little touches to the hotel have gone and everything was to a bare minimum so we were a little disappointed on this stay.
Breakfast was good. Good location in the heart of town close to beaches, town centre, and shops around. The staffs were Friendly and helpful expecially Nouman and Barbara they were both really helpful during our stay. Overall satisfied with the service.
The AC was on throughout and working but not cold enough as the room was still warm even with fan, the bathroom was extremely warm and the heatwave did not help either. One of the staffs came to check it on the day we arrived and he put off the heater but it was still warm throughout our stay.

Room fairly small and basic but comfortable. Overlooked the internal courtyard and adjacent passage so couldn’t fully open the blinds.

Nothing bad to say
Hotel was modern and all staff were friendly. The hotel had air conditioning, even in the room which was perfect for when I stayed as it was very hot. The breakfast was lovely. My daughter said she liked the bed as it was very comfy.
I would have liked to have had a mini fridge in the room as I was there for 3 nights and didn’t have anywhere to keep the drinks cold during the very hot weather. The shower wasn’t powerful enough for my liking and it needed to be replaced as there was water leaking out of the top of the head.
The staff were all friendly, the hotel itself was bright, clean and had nice décor. The location was great, less than a 10min walk to the beach and only a 5min walk to the town centre.
The bed was big and they provide free cots for baby.
The blinds in the rooms were letting too much light in. Outside the room was the courtyard which had lights on all night. My baby struggled to fall asleep due to this.

Die Lage ist gut, das Zimmer sauber und das Bett groß genug.
Die Zwischentüren im Flur knallen sehr laut.
It was clean and the room was big and comfortable. I even given a cot for my daughter for free which is amazing.
When I came in I had to wait for long cause no one was in the reception, they later explained it was a busy evening.The room was not cleaned the following day, apparently they said I should have put out the tag at the door to notify them to clean. Despite notifying them early noon about this they said their cleaner had already moved on and could not guarantee her coming to clean the room. Also, there were sculptures of gods in the entrance of the hotel. To be respectful of other people’s religion I don’t think this is a fair practice.
Location was perfect for what we needed.
Our bedroom was right by a fire door so was awake from 06.30 in the morning from people going through the door and it banging. No ideal.
