Hotel was average for costs. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable.
Charging to park car was poor. £15 is not only expensive but after paying 149/night I thought let the hotel down.

Window only opened a crack as blocked by guttering of another window - why is fresh air a luxury? Room was kind of poky which i hadn't expected for the price - and the fittings a bit tired - carpet was clean but also stained. Very noisy wedding party taking place up until the late hours.

Well it was a hot day when I was there and the Aircon did not work at all. I was asking reception to do something about it but they could not help it so I received a small fan instead.

Not much the facilities are so out of date, the room we stayed in was dirty and looked like there was mold on the picture frame, the door frames had bits missing and the carpet looked dirty

The hot water didn’t work and I had a cold shower and brushed my teeth with cold water. I got the flu after that which I still have. Also I phoned up and had a 6 minute conversation prior to my stay informing them
That I am disabled and have mobility
Issues. And still they gave me a room on the first floor and taking my stuff up and down caused a horrible back ache. The bed was also uncomfortable and overused mattress as the shape was disfigured. I requested a refund and am still waiting for them to get back to me
Staff were very friendly and professional. Hotel looks lovely and well presented when walking in. My parents room 306 was lovely!
Room 305- bed collapsed/caved in in the middle so made for an uncomfortable sleep. Only 1 pillow- would prefer 2. No hot water when bathing/showering in both the evening and morning :(
Near to beach area.
I requestes for the extra bed before I arrived, the spring bed provided me thatvwas broken and I had neck pain throughout the stay. The hotel staff hasn’t done anything I complained 4 times throughout my stay.
They offered me a day free parking, also told me to have free drink. I was shocked and disappointed with this kind of unprofessional behaviour.
I should get my money back I paid for the extra bed before £40.

Location was good. The breakfast was good.
Bathroom shampoo and shower gel not replenished, just tiny amount.
Bar/lounge downstairs toilets not upto cleanliness standard I would expect.
After reading many positive reviews, we were disappointed with our stay. In terms of positives, the hotel itself is modern, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, beyond these aspects, our overall experience did not meet the expectations set by the reviews.
There were several aspects of our stay that we were unhappy with. The cleanliness of the room was below an acceptable standard. The hairdryer was sticky and clearly worn out, the grout in the bathroom was mouldy, and the ceiling above the shower showed visible signs of damage (will attach photos).
The noise levels were also very poor. Throughout the night, we could hear people walking past the room and doors slamming, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The room appeared to have very little soundproofing.
The kettle was also extremely dirty. Even after rinsing it multiple times, bits of dirt were still coming out in the water, so we were unable to use it.
While the hotel is located within walking distance of the town centre, we did not feel particularly safe walking in the surrounding area, especially in the evening.
Overall, the standard was not great considering the price of the room.
I extremely liked the staff! So friendly and polite . We forgot a charger and they posted it immediately . Thank you !
