A Hidden Gem in the Historic Heart of Seville
CoolRooms Palacio de Villapanés is a truly extraordinary hidden gem in the historic centre of Seville. The hotel occupies a magnificent Baroque palace built around 1729 for Admiral Manuel López-Pintado, who later became the Marquis of Torre Blanca de Aljarafe. Its history can still be felt throughout the property, yet the building has been restored with remarkable sensitivity and style.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff was genuinely warm, attentive and helpful.
Our room exceeded every expectation. It was immaculately clean, beautifully and tastefully furnished, and recently renovated while carefully preserving the palace’s historic character. The quality and freshness of a hotel’s renovation are very important to me, and here every detail felt refined and thoughtfully considered. The mattress and pillows were extraordinarily comfortable — the kind you simply sink into.
Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Los Rincones del Marqués, was another highlight and surpassed all our expectations. Breakfast was equally delightful, served in the peaceful and intimate courtyard garden.
Every corner of the hotel has been designed with great care. The spa is a wonderful addition, while the rooftop terrace, with its plunge pool, sun loungers and beautiful views over Seville, is a magical place to relax. It is also a perfect setting for sunset photographs.
The hotel has received a MICHELIN Key, and after our stay, it is easy to understand why.
We wholeheartedly recommend Palacio de Villapanés. It is a rare combination of history, contemporary comfort, exceptional service and genuine Andalusian atmosphere.

Wunderschönes Hotel, tolle komfortable Zimmer, sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem zu Fuß in 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Sevilla. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool, Liegebetten, einem herrlichen Blick über Sevilla und Roomservice.
Ausgesprochen freundliche Mitarbeiter, die mir sehr geholfen haben, als ich meinen Schlüssel im Tresor vergessen hatte. Kostenlos einen Fahrer zum Flughafen gesendet. Super Service. Vielen Dank!!

One of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had — and we have stayed in many.
My wife and I chose Palacio Villapanés for one night during our anniversary trip through Andalusia, and it turned out to be the highlight of our time in Seville. From the moment we arrived, the team went far beyond what we expected: we were generously upgraded, and every detail of our stay was handled with warmth and genuine care. It never felt like service; it felt like being welcomed into someone's home.
Two people deserve special mention. Diego walked us through the palace himself, sharing its history with real passion and treating us with a kindness and courtesy we will not forget. Stella was, quite simply, our personal guide to Seville — she pointed us to the city's hidden gems, recommended the best restaurants, and arranged beautiful reservations for us with remarkable ease. Thanks to her, we saw a side of Seville most visitors never find.
The palace itself is stunning — the courtyards, the rooftop with the Giralda in view, the quiet elegance of the rooms — but it is the people who make this place extraordinary.
Thank you, Diego, Stella and the whole Villapanés team, for making our anniversary so memorable. We will be back, and we will send everyone we know.

Centrally located. Amazing staff - very helpful and kind. There a level of devotion and appreciation to the legacy of this hotel among the staff, which is something great. The beauty and history of this hotel is something very special. Rooms are also quite fabulous, not to mention we also got upgraded on arrival which was a great start. They also have great facilities in the rooms (including GHD straighteners, which i was so happy about). Breakfast is 10/10
