The hotel was easily accessible from M6
The room was very poor lots of lime scale in the bathroom and the skirting was black tape holding it together. Very much in need of repair and updating
This hotel is very close to Alton towers, it has a decent pub attached. We had two meals here and both very good. The cider slushie was needed during the heat wave. The hotel is older and tidy in places but they are charge a rate that accounts for this. Tesco, aldi and McDonald's all very close by ie in the same car park.
Car park is shared with the pub and not the largest. Was always a space but only a few left. McDonald's drive thru gets busy and a traffic jam forms for getting into the car park.
It was the perfect location for us as an overnight stopover between Liverpool and Nottingham.
Plenty of parking. We arrived at Midnight but security was on hand to give us our room.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
The furniture was very tired in our room.
Quite noisy as we had the window open because of the heat, no Aircon!

This Inn was convenient for a one night stop. Although clean the rooms were very tired looking.

The carpet in my room was rippled leaving exposed carpet grippers along one wall. Drawer handle missing leaving exposed screw.

No air con, but this is not essential. The rooms could do with an upgrade, I mentioned this the last time I stayed.
Room spacious, bed comfy.
Bad points - tissue paper stuck in window seals to perhaps keep out draft. Mold walls by window.
Seal around bath mouldy. OK for one night stay.
Mould, rusty radiator. Paint quite chipped around room.
Food was nice
Dried blood on bedsheets and the rooms filthy with dust

Mattress was rather lumpy and a couple more power sockets would be an advantage.
