Booked for a friend, convenient for him.
He wasn't signposted that his room included breakfast so he didn't stay for some.
Have stayed a few times and the rooms we have stayed In are a good size, clean and quiet even with it being a bar and restaurant.
Can’t be helped during in the warmer Weather but the rooms do get hot.
Lovely breakfast and very handy location with bus stop outside and busses direct to Henley
Big shout out to Jo on reception who very kindly gave us a lift to the theatre when our pre-booked taxi couldn't make it!! Thank you!!
Room was acceptable for a one night stay
Beds clean and comfortable
Plenty of towels and spare pillows
Place feels a bit sad/dated. Carpets with bare patches
It was quite hot but room didn't have a fan/air con
Cold water tap in need of cleaning as it sprayed all over me - not helpful when dressed to go out!!
Excellent location
Super friendly staff!!
Close to Henley on Thames where we were going to an event. Great price for one night. Good for Greene King pub access also, which usually does decent food for a reasonable price. Tea and coffee in the room. Decent bathroom. Decent bed and good night sleep. Free parking (if you can get a space!). Next to a fuel station that has a shop.
No parking space on arrival, so needed to park nearby initially until a space was available. Check-in took a bit of time as nobody was initially at the desk on arrival. Small window in room and bit of road noise. Bit dated inside, but added character to the stay!
Central
Dirty area down an alley way, steep stairs.
No soundproofing
Great location for a few days in the Thames Valley
Bathrooms were tired
Great value stay.
Very good value for money
