All of the staff that we dealt with were exceptional. Sandra (a dynamo ) got us checked in early and attended to our luggage and made sure all was good with the room. Olga too was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff too. San Francisco - I don't know what you do to your staff but you should bottle it and sell it to every other hotel.

I probably would have liked a picture or two in the bedroom ( admittedly it was a convent so maybe that is the intention to keep in the historical context.

Excellent location. And taking a swim and a jacuzzi after the Camino walk was heaven. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was wonderful.
The bedspreads were a bit drab but maybe that’s because it was an Abbey in the past.

Would have liked less brown furniture (!!) but appreciate that the Monastery is owned by the monks!!
The breakfast was good and the restaurant staff were pleasant. Quiet room.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like lying on the floor. I was in a room in the basement down a long corridor with no one else around. It made it quiet but I felt isolated. Maybe that’s where they put the pilgrims! Front desk staff were not helpful with my questions. I stayed in way nicer alburgues for a fraction of the price. I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

The hotel’s location was fantastic for exploring the centre of the town being in the centre and everything walkable from the hotel.
