Pros:

Staff were pleasant enough

Cons:

No continental breakfast takeaway available. Window panels were blown making it impossible see out of. Toilet shower was grubby. Not good value for money.

Cheap cheerful and had all the essentials you needed.
Pros:

Handy for the ferry to Isle of Wight. Large car park. Good television.

Cons:

The room was set out for one person and there was 2 people so I had to request another mug towels etc . Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Excellent value with breakfast included.
Pros:

Easy to find, free parking, helpful staff, excellent breakfast cooked to order. Half the price of our usual, more modern Portsmouth hotel.

Cons:

The furniture and fittings in our room were very dated and shabby with a few stains on the carpet although everything appeared superficially clean. There was no air conditioning, just a fan so on a much hotter night that could have been uncomfortable.

Old and showing it but comfy bed, nice staff and convenient for ferry.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, staff lovely.

Cons:

Corridors very old-pub smell- thankfully room did not smell at all! Window glass was fogged and tarnished so couldn’t see out. But I was there to sleep so doesn’t matter. The shower control was very stiff and my old hands had real problem being able to grip and turn with enough force to get it working. Found I could use a towel to help grip so solved it. Note to management- when you upgrade use a different design please.

Cons:

Filthy carpet in our room. Made sure we didn't put Anything on the floor!Window catch almost broken. Really bad attempt at sealing in bathroom . Walls grubby in places.

Dont take this too seriously
Pros:

Wasn't too noisy also has a lovely golf course and fields over the back was a nice stroll while having cigarette

Cons:

Not much just hoped I was lucky enough to meet a female haha 😆 room was quite hot found it little bit harder to fall asleep

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds.
Pros:

Have a restaurant on site was quite nice. The staff were very nice and informative. The room was clean and a good size. The view was nice. My friend liked the breakfast. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The bed was a bit small. The hotel was a bit further away from town than I thought but there was good transport to town

Liked it all … ok its not a 5* hotel but has everything we wanted clean comfortable and we asked for same room which the hotel was happy to give us

Very comfy and clean, friendly staff who are always happy to oblige. Top marks 👍
Pros:

Easy access and positioning as very close to the coast and not far off the main highway.

Cons:

Possibly could do with the car park markings being renewed. As on arrival back late cars parked in two slots instead of one . Discussed this with Joe who was on reception.
