Fabulous hotel. We stayed 13th April for 6 nights. It was honestly such a great hotel. On arrival we were greeted by someone called Zack who let us sign our registration forms on a nice table at our leisure. Despite arriving very early the rooms we had booked were ready for us. I had emailed the hotel a few days before asking for 2 rooms close to each other with a balcony if poss. We got two lovely spacious rooms that were adjoining so that was a massive plus. We had hotel porters there to pop the cases on the trolly and they escorted us to our room. Inside the rooms were very spacious & had a great view of the waterpark. Very impressive service! The whole hotel is very clean & spacious. The bar staff were excellent.just like reception they were really friendly. They were happy people and we didn't need to order what we wanted they just knew! The animation team were great too. A small team that kept us occupied with games in the day and dancing at night. We had a ball playing Mr & Mrs. The pools were great. A little cold for me but I've been in colder. The pool areas are always staffed and the whole area is just nice and clean. It's very relaxing. The entertainment in the day can be quite loud though so if you want a bit more quiet there is an adults only pool away from the main part but we went with kids so we were based at the slides most of the time. The food....again I don't know what people are complaining about. I loved the food there. Lots of variety. Very rarely were things running out like other hotels. Lots of staff making sure we are all well fed. The food is the best I've had and I've been to various TUI hotels and places that are more expensive than this hotel. Finally massive positive was the fuss they made of my son on his 15th birthday. They brought out a cake & some entertainment staff sang happy birthday. The other people in the restaurant were clapping. It was a decent cake too! We are very appreciative of it and he was made to feel special and it was just a really fantastic holiday where you can see the staff are really trying their best to give you the best service.
The "bad points" are not even that bad in my opinion. But here goes. The a la carter Moroccan restaurant was closed. Not an issue as we could still sample wonderful tagine food in the main buffet one. No icecreams. We have never been to an all inclusive where we can't get ice creams so we bought from the shop instead. Not a huge issue but I just found it a bit strange. The air con was off in the rooms and we were told it was their winter. Didn't bother me but it didn't my partner. Serious lack of a volleyball and tennis equipment. There was a flat ball. We did enquire about getting a volleyball. We played most days with the flat one til we gave up waiting for the hotel to buy one and we just bought a ball from the shop. We wanted to play tennis and again told no equipment. So that wasn't great as my son loves tennis and my daughter loved the volleyball. But I'm still giving it a 5 star review as I think it was such a great hotel I would recommend to families for sure. Thank you everyone who looked after us and made our holiday great. PS....did my sparkly shoes ever turn up lol 😂
my honest opinion is it’s was better than I expected!
The hotel Is clean and each morning they clean the pool and all the pool area, the foyer is spotless . The bedrooms are cleaned daily to a good standard . There is a little refurbishment going on in some rooms but it’s very discreet and doesn’t affect anyone.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are 4 pools- the main pool, the pool with 4 slides , a pool next to that and then tucked away quietly is an adult only pools- they are cold water tho!! Once you’re in it’s ok but definitely a little bracing at first!!
The drinks are plentiful with a good selection of alcohlic and non alcoholic.
Now the food- we’re not massively picky people . Breakfast good selection- croissants / pain au chocolates…. Bread jams … meats and cheeses. Fresh omelettes, fresh pancakes , some ‘sausages’
Fresh fruit, yogurts . Different cereals .
Lunch- bread , meats , salads , chips , pasta. then a mix - we saw hot meats in stew kinda thing but also saw chicken goujons kinda thing. Desserts
Dinners - there was always something to eat but I think the biggest issue is people come expecting English dishes. There was rice , potatoes, meats - we had tagine’s / chicken drumsticks in spices . Pasta. Again different salads .
The back up plan to any of this is both lunchtime and dinner they have a fresh pizza station .
The only issue we had with the food was nothing to do with the selection of food but the quantities- the staff were very slow to refill the serving dishes , at one point none of the serving platters had any meat in them & the staff were in no hurry to refill them. On our last morning we were in the restaurant for breakfast and in the entire 35 minutes we were there the baskets for croissants / pain au chocolate were empty and no one
re filled them. The food labels are also very sporadic- there not always out and when they are they’re not always in the right places !
I know this has been mentioned in previous reviews but hasn’t been sorted which is a little disappointing. Previously they’ve blamed on it being busy - but it really wasn’t that busy just not well organised
There were activities run in the day time if your a joining in type. A night there’s always some kinda entertainment- it ends on the dot on 11pm So you’re not kept up all night- which for us was great as our room over looked the pool area .
My only issue with our stay was personally our mattress was rock solid.. like laying on an ironing board! In 46 years I’ve never slept on a more uncomfortable bed- it was a real
Shame as every night I was awake multiple times and so so tired , I’m genuinely not a picky person and could sleep pretty much anywhere but this was really bad . I did speak to reception who folded a blanket in half under the sheet- this made no difference and the sleep situation was dire by the end of my stay. Now I may just of been unlucky and maybe the other mattresses were better.
If we were back in Marrakesh We would 100% comeback
A tip is if you want to use the free shuttle to town book it asap as we arrived Monday 9pm and wanted to get to the square for 10amAs had a tour booked Tuesday morning- the shuttle was already full, so had to book a taxi
The hotel was about 30 mins from the airport. There is a cashpoint in reception, saves the queues in the town. Same charges.
Check in could’ve been easier but they wouldn’t take out names. They wanted the easyJet booking reference, I’ve never had to provide that before, surnames usually work.
The food was very basic and not hot. It didn’t always seem as though there was enough food for everyone and they were really slow in refilling things. Enjoyed breakfast, they have an omelette station. Not much fruit on offer. Bread was pretty hard so watch your teeth. There is also a pizza station in the evenings.
The hotel runs a shuttle bus to the market 9am and pick up at 12.30. Then another run at 3pm. You need to book the day before.
You can ask for a late check out. Their info sheet says to ask the day before but reception state it’s the morning of departure. You can pay to stay on until 3 or 6pm (€30 for 6pm) if there is availability. Though they say you can’t use your all inc after 12pm. The souk is about 30-40 mins drive from the hotel and should only cost 150dh if you use a taxi.
The only place to buy food is the sports bar and it doesn’t open until 7pm. The little shop sells crisps. You can also download the app called glovo and have food delivered. They have all sorts including kfc and McDonald’s.
Reception seemed very clean.
Pool areas were clean. Plenty of beds (hotel not at full capacity and visited in April). Not many umbrellas. 4 pools, 1 for slides. The adult/relaxing pool was the furthest from the bar area. Bar and drinks were fine. Fridge with bottled water and you can just help yourself.
Rooms were basic. No balcony. We had rooms at the back of the building so no view. Room has a fridge. No kettle. Not the cleanest of rooms and definitely in need of a bit of updating. They seemed to be doing this when we were there. So there was knocking/banging during the day. Equipment was sometimes left in the corridors.
Big glass panels just propped up against walls. Shower was ok but water went everywhere as there is shower door.
I only gave it 1 star as I had to, to leave this review, otherwise this hotel does not deserve any stars. They keep using chemicals to get rid of insects such as cockroaches but a few managed to find their way to our room, and when I successfully managed to throw it out of our room, the cleaners didn’t bother to take it away! It stayed out of our room for the duration of our stay! I wonder how many live in the kitchen!!!
The restaurant was not a 4 star experience as we had to constantly ask for the tables to be cleared and ask for glasses, bowls, and in the morning ask for the chefs to come and start making things like omelette.
The lifeguards are constantly on their phones.
Staff are very rude and not helpful at all. Avoid at all costs.
Please don't believe the negative reviews listed. This is a great hotel and had all you would expect from an all inclusive resort. We had a great time and bit shout out to our rep, Zac, who went above and beyond to help us. We hope to be back.
Please I beg you, don’t go. The staff were wonderful at front desk, but that’s where the positives stop. My mum came home with a dangerous bacterial infection from the disgusting food. Most of us did not eat it after day 3 and ordered in takeaway. It’s just plain. Dangerous. We have lodged a complaint and the response basically called us liars - honestly go somewhere else!
Upon arrival and first impressions we were blown away by the setting, presentation of the hotel, the amount of facilities offered and the staff were friendly, helpful and more than accommodating.
And then there was as the restaurant and restaurant chefs. On the first day we we astonished to see a BBQ offered at lunchtime, however it served mystery meat (the staff often shrugged when you asked them). Sometimes you knew, other times you didn’t. I was served raw chicken that had been waved over the coals. Upon returning it to the BBQ I was laughed at as they took it back.
The were constant food shortages and queues to get food, and it appeared that organisation was not at all anyone’s strong point. Little to no alternative for offers for children (of which there were quite a few) and food was often cold. If you wanted your food hot there was a microwave at the end of the servary. Much of the food was for the best part un-labeled with allergen Information, and the amount of flies and cats was disturbing.
The kitchen staff were always miserable and seemed like they were doing you a favour to flip an egg, or give you an extra bit of meat. Although it was all you can eat the staff serving the “hot” food seemed to ration the food and still manage to run out. Food was often recycled for the next meal and was dry and virtually inedible. The amount of cross contamination of food in its raw state and cooked was frankly appalling, and two of our party discovered after a week of sickness at home that they had food poisoning. Complaints were made and we are still fighting for justice of some kind. Such a shame, as the hotel was lush. The other restaurant was never open so we were stuck. We ordered in take aways for the last three nights as we were going hungry. Hotel great, food sh1t€
The hotel has a pleasant lobby and bar area, although the corridors are somewhat dated. The reception staff were polite and welcoming. The younger restaurant staff were friendly and helpful; however, some of the older staff were less approachable and at times appeared unhelpful.
It is important to arrive at the restaurant as soon as it opens, as food becomes cold quickly and guests may need to use the microwave. The lifeguard at the pool was excellent — very friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist.
The bedrooms were clean, though the beds were slightly uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, the entertainment team was a significant disappointment. Most activities and announcements were conducted in French, and there was little effort to engage with English-speaking guests. On one evening in the bar, an entertainer spoke in French for over half an hour without checking the audience. An English guest eventually expressed frustration, pointing out that no one had been asked about their language. When the entertainer finally asked, it turned out that everyone present was English, which seemed to irritate him. For the remainder of the evening, his attitude towards speaking English appeared reluctant.
While the entertainer later began asking guests about their nationality before evening activities, it was clear that bilingual communication was not delivered with enthusiasm. An international hotel should make equal efforts to include all guests, regardless of nationality or language.
If the hotel primarily caters to French guests, this should be made clear in advance. Guests come on holiday to relax, not to feel excluded or unwelcome. The entertainment team would benefit from better training or replacement to ensure all visitors are treated with equal respect and inclusion.
Environnement calme respect
Restaurant pas trop de choix malheureusement
My family and I stayed here for 11 nights last year in July all inclusive and we were rather impressed. There was a variety of food served each service, including a pasta and pizza section which my daughter was very pleased about, if you did not fancy anything from there you could also use the glovo app amd order a cheeky mcdonalds!
There was entertainment on every day and the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean. Make sure to go buy towels from the shack by the pool as you're not allowed to use the ones from the room.
Personnel trés gentil toujours à notre écoute
hôtel propre
petit bémol nous étions 13 personnes et impossible de manger tous à la même table
Laqua parc pour les enfants
Chambre ancienne, à rafraîchir
Everything was easy no issues
Nothing
La cadre de l hotel, le service des femmes de ménage ainsi que la propreté de l' établissement
La qualité de la literie, la nourriture était répétitif et froide
The pool facilities were great. There is a kids/main pool, water park pool and an adults only pool- where we spent most of our time. Rooms had lovely big beds and we were greeted with soft drinks on arrival. Different food every night at buffet and can usually find something you like. Close enough to the city centre (around 20 min taxi) but can be expensive if you hadnt booked free bus service.
Staff rarely smile or take interest in what you have to say. Often times we wait at reception where they glance at you and finish their conversation before speaking to you, the same with wait staff in the lunch hall. In the bathroom in the room there is a clothes wire that used to be white but is now black with mould. Bus service is free however can only book 24 hours before and fills up very quickly. Water supply is weird- water is only given from 10am-11pm otherwise you cannot get any, we had staff count how much water we asked for and say to us the number. Drinks are all given in small thick plastic cups, including wine, which are often hot when given to you.
The room services and different activities
The outdoor pool was cool so couldn’t enjoy it throughout my stay
