Perfect. Recommended.
Pros:

Great location. Perfect Hotel. And Excellent service from the bellman/ housekeeping & Hotel staffs. All are very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

Room is very spacious. Bed is also HUGE if you request for it. Can sleep for 3 pax.

Cons:

Maybe can improve more on the lighting? And also can suggest for a more private toilet area...

Below Expectations for a 4-Star Hotel
Pros:

I booked ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a 2-day, 1-night staycation to celebrate a family member’s birthday. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell well below my expectations for a hotel marketed as a 4-star property.

The room appeared dated, with an overall yellowish appearance and visible cracks on parts of the flooring. The towels had an unpleasant smell, and both my family member and I experienced skin irritation after using the sofa, which raised concerns about its cleanliness or condition. The hairdryer was faulty, and although it was replaced after I contacted reception, the replacement unit had the same issue.

We also experienced repeated TV signal interruptions. Although a technician attended to the issue, it was not fully resolved. When I contacted the careline to ask about children’s TV channels, the staff were unable to provide a clear answer. In addition, the room had a coffee machine but no coffee capsules or instructions indicating whether they were complimentary or chargeable, which was confusing.

One of the biggest disappointments was the breakfast arrangement. My booking confirmation clearly stated “Breakfast for 2 persons” as an included benefit. However, during check-in, I was provided with RM30 breakfast vouchers for a designated café, and I still had to pay additional charges for breakfast. Although the hotel later clarified that this was how the package was structured, I believe the booking confirmation should have communicated this more clearly to avoid misleading expectations.

The staff were polite, but several enquiries and reported issues were not handled confidently, and some problems remained unresolved during our stay.

This staycation was also planned to celebrate a family member’s birthday. While I understand that special requests are subject to availability, I was disappointed that the occasion was not acknowledged despite my booking remarks.

After my stay, I contacted the hotel directly and received a professional response acknowledging most of the issues raised. While I appreciate their reply, it does not change my overall experience, which unfortunately fell below the standard I expected from a 4-star hotel.

Considering the room condition, maintenance issues, breakfast arrangement, and overall service experience, I do not feel this stay offered good value for the price paid. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

When I showered, the water comes out of the bathroom and fills the floor outside near the sink. Maybe this was in my room only, but the shower door needs to be sealed.

I love it.

The location is strategic to the most major shop outlets around bukit bintang.

Cons:

The ambience is a bit off to me as the lighting is my issue because it is a bit dark along the hallway and in the room. The hotel management might need to adjust the lighting to be a bit more brighter and put some aromatheraphy smell along the hallway.
