Pros:

We had a great stay at Loch Ness Lodge Hotel while walking the Great Glen Way. The location is excellent, making it a perfect stop along the route. The hotel was very clean, and everything was comfortable and well looked after. We would happily recommend it to anyone walking the Great Glen Way and would definitely stay again.

Disappointing hotel
Pros:

Drumnadrochit is a lovely town

Cons:

We stayed in room 2 for 3 nights. The room had a musty smell. The carpet needs to be replaced. The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was old. There was no covering on the base of the bed. The TV was faulty- switched its self on and off.
The room was not serviced, unless you complained to the receptionist. You had to ask for a shower mat.
I would not stay there again.

We had a lovely stay :)
Pros:

A very atmospheric hotel, old-fashioned in style, but that was part of its charm. A very good location, with parking in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very good English breakfast buffet.

Okay, budget hotel
Pros:

A good location, room fine and bed comfortable. Fairly basic but okay.

Cons:

The restaurant was not open, feel this should have been explained prior to arrival. I got an electric shock from the bathroom mirror light. Not many staff around.

Pros:

Property had comfortable beds, friendly staff. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water etc. Good location

Cons:

Le lit était très mou. La salle de bain obsolète, rideau en plastique, bidet des années 70, baignoire des années 70.
Il y avait un restaurant et un bar mais fermé ! En pleine haute saison.
Une personne a la réception mais de 15h à 22h. En dehors de çes heures, hôtel fantôme.

Common room was pretty. Beds were comfortable. Staff was cordial. Ok for the price we paid, I guess.

Cons:

The room smelled as if noone had stayed there for many years, i.e. old. The window view from our room was nonexistant, other rooms might have a better view. The windor in the bathroom could not be opened.

Spotless, friendly, welcoming and great location. Go to the craft beer shed for food.
Pros:

Really friendly and helpful staff. Mega clean. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing. We liked the slightly tired decor as it made it authentic and more fun that a premier inn
