Amazing experience
Pros:

Awesome position
Historic place
Nessie would live in here if she could
Looks like starring in a scene of a Quentin Tarantino movie sometimes, this place inspired him for sure.

We have to say this, the place is not that clean and it’s pretty old

Pros:

Clean, practical and so cozy. We loved this hut. Not super spacious but it was enough for us two. Also the location was fantastic, it was so quiet. There was everything that we needed, and the host were so helpful.

Sanierungsbedürftig und viel zu teuer
Pros:

Auf den ersten Blick ein altes Schlösschen in Loch Ness Nähe. In den Ort kommt man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß (Fiddler absolute Restaurant-Empfehlung). Das Zimmer sah gewissermaßen pittoresk aus.

Cons:

Völlig verwohntes Haus. Das muss nicht renoviert sondern saniert werden. Im Bad hatten wir z.B. ein dunkel-sandfarbenes Bidet...das war mindestens aus den frühen 80er Jahren. Dusche war eine schmale Badewanne mit so einem Plastikvorhang, der sofort am Duschenden klebt. Kopfende des Bettes komplett lose. Mit dem Teppich lieber keinen Kontakt. Ohne die Loch-Ness-Nähe würde da niemand absteigen! Völlig überteuert mangels Alternativen!
Außerdem gehört zum Haus ein extrem hässlicher Anbau und so ein Nessie-Experience-Ding, das auch schon völlig runtergerockt war (alte, kaputte Schilder, kaputte Riesen-Nessie-Figuren). Nicht schön!

Although some areas needed updating the hotel had a quirky charm and was clean throughout. Staff were very efficient and extremely friendly. Food in restaurant was delicious and location was fantastic.

Pros:

Pretty much everything, the design was cool, the rooms were large and accommodating and the area was very convenient. Staff and the breakfast were nice

Cons:

Only thing that takes away is that it got really hot in the middle of the night and the room didn’t have a fan so it made it harder to sleep.

Tout est bien qui finit bien!
Pros:

La réactivité de la réceptionniste et de la manager qui nous ont trouvé 2 chambres spacieuses, confortables au lieu de nos chambres prévues et offert une bière pour s'excuser.
Nous avons apprécié le petit-déjeuner buffet riche et varié ainsi que le parking à disposition devant l'hôtel.

Cons:

On nous a attribué 2 chambres dont le ménage n'avait pas été terminé, lits non faits, pas de serviette. Après demande à la réception, nous avons été surclassés .

Pros:

The bed was extremely comfortable.

Cons:

Paper cups for tea. Shower was either scalding hot or ice cold. Staff just handed over key on check in, failed to inform me that the restaurant was closed, what time breakfast was, that WiFi wouldn’t reach my room as it only seem to work in the reception area.
