Nothing - don’t book!
Dated, dirty, mouldy bathroom. Paper cups to make tea. Got bitten. Couldn’t wait to leave. Book somewhere else
Beautiful from outside.
Very old decor like 1950s. Felt like we had traveled back in time. Needs updating badly
Clean fresh bedding.
Very, very dated and worn.
Damaged carpets, 70's bathroom and fitted furniture, dirty chairs, window broken and damaged, stained sink and bath, extractor not working, mouldy damp damaged cupboards. Extremely poorly decorated. And titled a superior room. I dread to think what the normal rooms are like. Breakfast very poor some parts inedible. No staff at checkout to complain to and we had no option but to stay as noware locally to change to.
This place needs a serious refit and review on how they run there business.
How can this hotel get away with it.
Had great Scottish character
Ammenities need to be up kept, leaks in bathroom and poor quality bedding
This hotel was super charming. It's a little old and outdated, but that was the part I liked most about it. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice and very helpful.
There is parking, but we pulled up around 5pm and got the last spot, so be mindful of that.
Great location and very clean, I would stay again. The decor is rustic and old fashioned but this adds to the experience.
The property feels old and the carpets and rooms smell slightly. I left the window open so it wasn't a problem.
Convenient location
Place seriously needs refitting, worn out and a bit seedy
Chambre spacieuse
Emplacement idéal
Bon petit déjeuner et personnel agréable
Beaucoup d'humidité dans la chambre.
Personnel a l'accueil pas très agréable
Second night lovely room and had beautiful views. Would stay in this room again.
Breakfast good choice and ok.
Lovely receptionist, she couldn’t be nicer - star of the hotel.
Elderly owners trying hard, but feel for them. Not meeting our expectations, very dated.
First night - dire smelly room. Really not good, almost left never to return….
Stained mattress and room so outdated. A dreadful smell we used a bottle of aftershave to sweeten it up!
Evening meal really wasn’t good. Most not eaten and returned to the kitchen.
Bar expensive and only bottled beers.
The hotel and breakfast were really good, nice decor was really nice, with tartan soft furnishings and wooden wall coverings. It looked very formal but you could relax. Breakfast was buffet style both hot and cold. The location is amazing, the small town is on the edge of Loch Ness. Staff were helpful and polite. The room was very competitively priced for the area.
We had nothing to complain about
Nothing
In desperate need of a refurb!! !!
Big room, nice staff, great location, food was good considering other review said it wasnt good.
The fire alarm going off mid sleep. Otherwise no other issues
Really friendly staff. Good location.
Aged hotel, which needs some attention.
Location, friendly staff
Old decor
It was just ok
Very old & dated hard bed bar very ordinary
