Das Hotel Collinetta liegt an einer ausserordentlich schönen, erhöhten Lage mit toller Sicht auf den See. Das Hotel ist kein grosser Kasten, sondern vermittelt noch einen leicht familiären Eindruck. Die Terrasse ist teilweise Wind geschützt und gut beschattet und umgeben von einem hübschen, traditionellen, charmanten Garten mit mediterraner Bepflanzung. Wichtig an dieser Anlage auch zu bemerken, dass es immer genügend Parkplätze gab. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich, die Speisekarte nicht gross, aber die Speisen sind exzellent, gekocht und schön angerichtet.

Cons:

Es ist kein Luxushotel, aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen.

Pros:

Lovely staff, welcoming and very helpful. Room was super clean, the pool was a nice addition and not very busy at least in the evening we arrived (Friday, early September), superb garden overlooking the lake. Good breakfast, with varied selection. 20-25 minutes walk to Ascona town center, be aware there are around 200 steps (down towards center, up back to the hotel), a walk I enjoyed despite the hot weather.

Die Lage ist sehr gut gelegen und bietet einen Idyllischen Ausblick . Parkmöglichkeit
kostenlos vor dem Hotel. Bushaltestelle gleich auf der Hauptstrasse.
Beim sehr netten Empfang werden Vorschläge für die Ausflüge gemacht, unter anderem das Ticino Ticket. Damit hat man eine kostenlose Nutzung von Bahn und Bus.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und bietet Top ausgewählte Produkte.

Gutes Frühstück und auch gutes Abendessen, sehr ruhige Lage, kein Autolärm. Super Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Schöner gepflegter Garten.

Cons:

Ein besser Zugang zum See und ein Freibad, es gibt nur ein Hallenbad, das schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist
