Liebevoll geführtes Hotel in traumhafter Lage
Pros:

Wir haben uns in diesem liebevoll geführten Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Die ruhige, traumhafte Lage auf dem Land lädt zum Entspannen und Abschalten ein. Besonders begeistert hat uns die mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Einrichtung, die dem Hotel einen ganz besonderen Charme verleiht.
Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen sehr liebevoll angerichtet und war ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Möglichkeit, Fahrräder auszuleihen und damit die schöne Umgebung zu erkunden.

Everything! The owner Baiba?, she was so kind and helpful! The breakfast was amazing, the dinners were so beautiful. The property was very large and so well looked after. We loved it there.

Cons:

Unfortunately our bathroom had a bit of a sewer scent. The staff tried to fix it but it still lingered a bit. They gave us a fan and it helped a lot.

Wir konnten Mitsommer dort feiern, mit allem, was in Lettland dazugehört. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis

Cons:

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Frühstück und Abendessen stimmte nicht. Etwas dürftig.

Wonderfully restored historic property lovingly managed for a relaxing stay amongst nature.
Pros:

Baiba and Janis have done a wonderful job over the past 20 years transforming a historic but neglected rural property into a comfortable and welcoming country retreat. The rooms and overall property are well maintained, comfortable and cozy. The owners and their staff are very pleasant, helpful and responsive. The property is only a quick 15 minute drive from Cesis where you can sightsee, shop, stroll around or rent bikes. Their breakfast was very nice. Their dinner menu sounded equally delicious, but we weren't back in time either day to take advantage of their home-cooked dinners. We highly recommend this uniquely lovely country inn.

Cons:

Not a thing, everything was well done.

Ein wunderschöner,- leider zu kurzer-, Aufenthalt in Litauen auf dem Land.
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage auf dem Land (direkt neben dem Hotel ein Storchennest mit 3 Jungtieren), schöne Spazier- /Wanderwege direkt vom Haus aus, absolut ruhig und entspannend (ohne Mücken heuer!), leckeres Abendessen,...., wir hätten noch länger bleiben sollen.

Cons:

Winziger "Schönheitsfehler" : zum Hauptgang wäre eine kleine sog. "Sättigungsbeilage" nicht schlecht gewesen. Und wir hatten Glück mit der Temperatur, wir bekamen Ventilatoren,...., wäre es noch heißer geworden, hätten sich unsere Zimmer unter dem Dach wohl sehr aufgeheizt, - aber das wird wohl im nördlichen Klima sehr selten vorkommen.
