Fabulous staff, especially on the terrace which is very busy but the staff get you a seat quickly, drinks are brought immediately, small snacks etc. The staff really are good here, funny and attentive and not at all jaded. Very professional. The terrace truly is beautiful, wonderful and quiet for breakfast (which was good) and fun and lively at night. The location is great as well. Easy walking distance to everything.
Our room, number 6 I believe was a great room inside, big, clean, comfortable, lovely bathroom but it is right on the kitchen and reception area. The hotel has done everything they can to keep it quiet - there is an extra sound proof door outside of the normal hotel room door but unfortunately you really can hear banging and so on in the room. It was fine for us as we stay up late. And we were lucky to get a room in the hotel at all as it was peak season and its a small hotel.
The most amazing hotel. The staff were great from arrival! We got there before check in, so we were offered a cappuccino and croissant on rooftop bar. The room was lovely with an incredible view of florence and a great breakfast on the rooftop. We loved the location, as it was so walkable to everything we wanted to see and the piazza had such a nice vibe in the evening. Would love to stay again if we come back to florence!
We especially liked the roof top terrace.

Un séjour magique au cœur de Florence. Le Palazzo Guadagni est un lieu magnifique, plein de charme et d’histoire. Notre chambre était immense et absolument superbe, avec ses hauts plafonds peints et son mobilier ancien. La terrasse est merveilleuse, aussi bien le soir qu’au petit-déjeuner, qui était excellent. Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable, c’est le personnel : adorable, chaleureux, attentionné et même très drôle ! Nous nous sommes sentis merveilleusement bien accueillis. Une adresse que je n’oublierai pas et où je reviendrai avec immense plaisir. ❤️
The rooms are really big, comfy beds, the decoration is magical it feels like staying in a real Palazzo. I love Lorenzo Villoresi's perfumes and they have his soap and shampoo. The breakfast is in their stunning terrace, with views to the Tuscan countryside and nearby architecture. In the evening the bar is really lively and it's fun to get drinks there. The staff is super friendly and helpful, my partner lost his hat, and when we came back they had looked for it and found it.
The entrance is via a 3rd floor lift, but what can they do!
